Try the 1.2mi. Den Tree Trail, which takes you along a narrow path near a stream and over marshes. At the end of this trail, you'll see an arboretum with a wide variety of old, rare trees.
The park's longest single hiking trail is the River Trail. This walk is more challenging, but it is idyllic as it follows the course of the beautiful Bluestone River over 5.25mi.
If you'd like to check out Long Branch Lake, the scenic 4.6mi. Lake Shore Trail is for you. This trail is shaded by pine trees, and takes hikers through easy switchbacks with stunning views of the lake.

On the Bluestone River, the New River, or Long Branch Lake, you and your family can rent anything from a fishing boat, to kayaks, to pedal boats and paddle boards. A day on the water is a great way to relax, have fun, and enjoy one another's company.
