From one of the Wallace Falls State Park cabins, you and your family can take the 4.1mi. Greg Ball Trail all the way up to the iconic Wallace Lake. This trail is less busy, so you might find yourself with exclusive views of the lake and wildlife along the way.
Heading toward the park's waterfalls, the Woody Trail is a well-marked, nicely maintained path that many visitors return to time and time again. You'll catch stunning views of the Lower, Middle, and Upper Falls along this route, and you'll have plenty of other photo-worthy stops as you hike.
For a quieter walk, take this two-mile trail, which connects with the park's mountain bike route and Woody Trail. This hike offers a small waterfall, a moderate grade, and dense forests for a contemplative, peaceful experience.
