After being burnt down twice, the present neo-gothic church in Warnemünde was consecrated in 1871. Designed by architect Krueger of Schwerin, the church retains some of its original features, including a Gothic altar dating from around 1475 that some say was recovered from a shipwreck. The Renaissance pulpit contributes to the atmosphere.
