I loved the location and local neighborhood. The flat is on the far side of Castello, so it's quiet, yet close to local stores, restaurants and bars. The Giardino vaporetto stop is a 5 minute walk. The owners are simply lovely, and spending the day with them on their boat was one of the best days I've ever spent in Venice. If you're sensitive to odors, be aware that this flat is on the ground floor, so it's got a definite damp mildewy smell, which is typical for ground floor flats in Venice, but might bother some.

La Fiocchina Salo lake Garda was in a stunningly beautiful location. It was very peaceful. We were lucky to have Martina solving the accommodation problem as we had mistakenly booked the units inappropriate for our needs. Martina solved the problem and was welcoming and friendly as were the 2 beautiful dogs. I would however say that communication could be clearer for instance coffee is not Nescafé. Blue or red or green units does not mean much. I had also understood that there was a restaurant, and there was not. But apart from the communication problem it was absolutely perfect. A huge thanks to Martina.

This was such a unique place to spend our final night in Italy. It positioned us for an easy drive to the Venice airport. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The wine tasting was great and I managed to fit a bottle of their Isabela Brut in my suitcase.

It's difficult to think of this place as an Agriturismo, it really is more of a luxury hotel with a large garden. But what a garden and what a hotel. It's a perfect blend of old castle with fully modern amenities. Our room was in the tower and everything was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We did the full tour with wine tasting and our guide Stephano was equally knowledgeable about the history of Castello di Roncade and the wines that were served. He. Also had a great sense of humour which made the tour very entertaining. We will most definitely be back.
