Rent a canoe or other small boat and explore the 15 Acres of Fort Boggy Lake. Snakes, birds, raccoons, and boars are often seen from the lake.
A few sections of the shore are designated swimming beaches. These beaches are ideal for families with young children as the water is fairly shallow and your children can go for a safe swim or paddle.
Fort Boggy Creek runs a series of Ranger Programs throughout the year. These include star gazing, campfire stories, guided walks, and guided canoe tours of the lake.
You can pick up a free Junior Explorer Pack from reception when you check. Packs include binoculars, a magnifying glass, and conservation guides that are returned to the camp when you leave. Each child gets a journal, pencils, crayons, and watercolors so they can keep track of all the fun things they did in the park.
