Featuring dramatic vistas from the top of Stone Mountain as well as routes that guide you through the forests and to the falls, each trail is easily accessed from Stone Mountain State Park cabins -allowing you to explore the park at your own pace.
Leading you through a heavily wooded area along an old road bed, this 1.5-mile trail is rated as moderate. In the winter the views of Stone Mountain are excellent.
This 1-mile trail is rated as moderate and guides hikers to the top of Cedar Rock where excellent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains await.
A 4.5-mile trail rated as difficult, this route takes hikers across the summit of Stone Mountain and provides access to a 200 ft waterfall. The Hutchinson Homestead is also found along this route.
Following Widow's Creek for 2.5-miles, this trail is rated as difficult. There are a number of excellent places to picnic along this route.

Designated rock climbing areas in the park are suitable for all abilities, however beginners should always be accompanied by experienced climbers. All climbers must register before attempting any climb.
Trout fishing in Stone Mountain State Park is extremely popular and anglers have more than 20 miles of designated waters to choose from. You will also find two fishing piers on the Roaring River.
