Valentines in Spain

The mother of all love escapades starts in the Spanish capital. The city has beautiful parks to walk hand-in-hand with your lover. It is like you could reach out and take some to adorn your lover's hair. The sunsets at Tenerife are truly incredible too.

Spending Valentines in Spain is not complete without a proper sampling of the best Spanish foods. On San Sebastián, you and your heartthrob get to enjoy pintxos, which are baguettes crowned with morsels of meat or fish. Before the sun goes down, the beautiful crescent-shaped cove that is the beach of La Concha will welcome you. The scenic vista is unparalleled, the sands perfect for walking barefoot till the sun goes down.

Andalusia's rich history offers the perfect cultural tint to valentines in Spain. La Ronda's dramatic views from the top of El Tajo has perfect charming spots for lovebirds. For a more chivalrous escapade, spend an hour in a horse-drawn carriage through the city. Be careful, though, as you might never be able to go back home after that dreamy escapade.
