Museum Maricel de Mar
This beautiful white building houses an eclectic collection belonging to a well known gyneacologist. Mainly comprising Romanesque murals, there are also altarpieces and carvings of striking skill and beauty. The collection takes viewers on a tour of the last two centuries of Catalan painting, including works by several masters. Among the collection of historical artefacts there is also a collection of miniature boats and nautical instruments, from sextants to fishing nets, which were once used by the local fishermen on this Catalan coast.
Romantic Museum
Housed in a neoclassical building dating from 1793, this collection owes its name to the previous owner of the building, Manuel Llopis i Fals, who had it built when he urbanised the walls of the town. Inside visitors will find apartments of regal grandeur with ornate chandaliers, wall hangings and formal gardens. The original family was one of the most important in this seaside town.
Church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla
This unusual looking edifice is located right on the seafront. Its red stone walls glow in the evening sun and its ornate towers gleam at sunset. The church is a gateway to the old town and recalls medieval times, while today it remains a relic of the town's grand past and contributes to its beauty.
La Playa de Sitges
This strip of perfect white beach runs the entire length of the town and is fronted by a variety of bars and restaurants which are conveniently located for proloning the party.
Sitges Promenade
One of the best places to enjoy a cocktail and take in the culture, this Sitges promenade is where the Spanish take a stroll after a siesta.
