Seattle Tacoma International Airport has 91 domestic and 28 international connections, while three Amtrak train routes pass through Seattle. From the airport, take the Shuttle Express to downtown Seattle, which is 15 minutes from Seattle Pacific University. Link Light Rail also travels through Seattle, offering a 40-minute ride from the airport to Westlake Station downtown.
To get around the city, use King County Metro Transit, which covers downtown Seattle and outlying neighborhoods. There are also streetcar services that cover the Southlake Union, First Hill, and Chinatown-International districts, and a monorail that runs between Westlake Center and Seattle Center.
With over 500 places to shop and eat at, Pike Place Market has to be seen to be believed. Shop as you enjoy views of the Olympic Mountains, which you can later see from a different perspective at the Space Needle. For great coffee shop culture, check out the Queen Anne neighborhood around the university, and for culture of a different kind, visit Teatro ZinZanni, a circus and magic venue. Other highlights include the Seattle Great Wheel, the Museum Of Flight, and Woodland Park Zoo.
