Minneapolis and St. Paul are busy and bustling cities balanced with large green parks, planned townships and scenic trails by the Mississippi river. Encircling these water features is the 40 mile loop of the Grand Rounds, an excellent way to explore the lush greenery on foot or bike. The twin cities have a large number of museums. Choose from the Children's Museum, the Minnesota Museum of American Art, the Science Museum and the History Center. With its collection of pianos used by famous composers like Brahms and Mendelssohn, the Schubert Club Museum is a must-see for music fans.
