Slopes are accessed via a short walk (approximately 150 yards) to the "Corridor" ski trail which provides direct access to the Gondola, Arrow or Gemini lifts. For those who want to venture to the base area but not ski the Green line bus stops at Base Camp.

You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside the villa's beautiful warm interior, boasting high-end designer furnishings, cozy mountain touches, in floor radiant heating, Wolf gas range, massive dining table and a beautiful stone fireplace. This home has one of the best location and views available, situated next to the Winter Park Resort base village, with a ski trail just outside the building that will take you directly to the Zephyr gondola. "This place was perfect for our group of nine. Grandparents, adult children and their partners, and three teenagers. We were all very comfortable. My daughter, who has no kids, slept in the lower level and had plenty of privacy and their own living room. My husband and I had the master which was wonderful. My son and his kids were in the other two bedrooms. We all fit around the large table for breakfast and dinners. I enjoyed cooking and lacked nothing. I requested a humidifier and they brought two. I also needed another toaster and it came right away. Ski in ski out? Yes. But it required some effort to get up the hill. We got the code to use the elevator in a neighboring building and that made it so much easier. The floor plan in this condo is fantastic for a large group. I hope to be able to rent it again someday. It was a big splurge for our family but the investment into our memories is absolutely priceless! The Winter Park Escapes management company was great to work with!"

"We had the most amazing time in Winter park staying at 452 Iron horse base camp. This home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for your whole family (and even nooks to get away for a bit if you need some privacy) ! Disclaimer: This is ski in-ski out, but unless your children are proficient blue skiers it is too difficult of a run for them to ski down. With that being said, it was a very easy 10 minute walk down to the Winter park Village base resort (which is fantastic) or you can take the shuttle that comes about every 20 Minutes."

"Top to bottom this place was amazing, even more spacious than the pictures suggest. Lots of room for your group to spread out, but the open concept kitchen/living/dining is a great place for everyone to be together. Ski in/ski out was convenient. "The house is wonderful Parking is the biggest issue if you have more than 2 cars you have to park 1 off site and closest parking is vintage hotel Ski in ski out is for experienced skiiers only not kids (blue runs and walk about 1000’ from front door uphill to ski run then have to take mary jane blue run yo get home) Donwstairs family room would be great if there was a pull out couch 5 miles from town and closest restaurants but easy drive, nothing open in the Village really It could be helpful to have a welcome guide with transportation to base and parking info in case people have little kids or non skiiers Minor but there was no spatula in kitchen Overall great experience, house was really nice and in great condition"

"Listed as ski-in/ski-out with a 150-yard walk. That 450' gets you to an up and downhill narrow, icy 500-foot trail, then stairs, good luck in ski boots with gear, with the elevation to boot as well. The other way is about 900 feet total with a steep climb at the end and holes you may fall through if you hit the wrong spot. More then a little challenge with boots, ski gear, and acclimating to the elevation first few days. THEY REALLY NEED TO CLARIFY THIS IN LISTING, can't imagine if I still had young ones along ! Needs a few repairs, door handles falling off, etc. They asked me to make a list? Hot tub was in VERY poor condition on arrival, called and they came to drain and fill quickly, but still, 24 hours before we could use it. Then my daughter went to do a load of wash and the hot water hose was OFF the spicket end from them filling the hot tub, a big leak for me to clean up, good for them I was there! Not a big complaint list as this reads, Just being truthful, I just thought someone shold be more clear as I reed the reviews before booking as well. Might stay again IF no other closer ski in/out is available."
