The condos in this building are located on the second floor of the building and bedrooms within the condo are upstairs with a total of 2 flights of stairs including the stairs to reach the residences on the 2nd floor and the bedrooms upstairs within the condo. Walk right outside your door and enjoy fantastic mountain restaurants, shopping, night life, trail system for hiking and biking, and various scheduled events and concerts in the Town's new Hideaway Park amphitheater area. The Fireside Market is also next door for all of your grocery shopping. "Place was really nice, new and very comfortable. Price was reasonable even for a Holiday weekend. The included key codes were easy to use for checkin, and the checkout process was pretty smooth compared to many Airbnbs which ask for an hour of cleaning before checkout. "The luxury condo was nicely furnished and well stocked. There is easy access to the Idlewild Trail and Fraser Trail. The local grocery store, restaurant and shops are all walking distance. Great location if you’re in town for a concert in the summer and close proximity to catching the Lift to the ski base. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this unit again. There are perks as the condo works with Xplorie which gets you one free entry per day to the rec center, coffee at the Perk, frozen yogurt at Charlie’s and much more!"

"We had a nice staycation in Winter Park at this location. Very quiet - considering we were sharing walls with neighbors, we did not hear them at all! Close enough to the slopes to get ski time every day. The ONLY thing we wish we would have considered was this place is up a large flight of stairs and made for many trips to unload and load the car. It was a bonus to have the coffee shop downstairs for a morning treat now and again."

"Only things we didn’t like: When arriving the unit had a strong smell of cleaner that you could tell was masking a dog/pet smell. When renting this property I did not know that pets had stayed in it. There were lots of stains on the rugs upstairs and downstairs where pets had urinated. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and could smell this our entire stay. When booking this unit The company had it listed like there was a private hot tub that came with the unit and there was special instructions for the use of the private hot tub and upon arrival there was no private hot tub. So we decided we would try out the community hot tub and it was cold and not working our entire stay. The unit is located over businesses so throughout our stay we had people from those businesses that would park in our parking spot and they was not very nice about it when we would ask them to move so we could park. The Mad Adventure (business directly below our unit) white shuttle buses would always park in the middle of the parking lot and in our parking spot, making it difficult to get in and out of our parking spot."

"The condo is full of light and has high ceilings, which makes it feel even more spacious. The hallway bunks were super practical and more private than I expected. We enjoyed the hot tub across the parking lot and the ski shop on the first floor of the building has lattes and espresso. Parking was easy. This is a great property and I’d rent it again."

"We were so ready for a safe and socially distanced getaway from our small pandemic-mandated world. We love Winter Park so our first instinct was to look at the major online accommodation rental sites I’m sure you know. With just a little more research we found Winter Park Escapes. They were literally the same places we were looking at but for hundreds of dollars less expensive. When we arrived, we found the unit mostly as advertised: Lovely decor, great location, comfortable king bed, etc. Granted we are discriminating so there were a few minor issues. Since our safety plans dictated that we prepared all of our meals in, some of these issues mattered. E. g. the kitchen was missing some functional items like dish soap, dish towels, cup measure set and measuring spoons. E. g. the kitchen large picture window looked out on a restaurant parking lot and there was no way to close the blind so we were on display in a fishbowl. E. g. all the windows were unlocked and many needed cleaning. E. g. There were no instructions for any of the technology like the Bluetooth speaker or the electronic fireplace. E. g. The cleaning in between renters was not deep enough. There was lots of dust on baseboards and on vents, and there was cooking grease on cabinets over the range and there was dog food in the floor. Finally, this is a preference more than functional but we thought it would have been appropriate to have a welcome binder with a greeting letter, instructions and guide to local amenities, services and attractions. We’ve found this feature in many other rentals over the years and found them very helpful - and it made the place stand out for future visits. So... in spite of the minor issues we found we give full credit to the staff who were very responsive to our alerting them to the afore mentioned issues and they resolved them all within 12 hours. Well done! In summary, we would definitely go back happily. Winter Park Escapes has very nice accommodations. Our only wish is that especially in the pandemic age we live in, cleanliness is a peer of godliness and going the extra mile is not just a bonus, its vital."

"This property had everything you could want. We were within walking distance from a grocery store, liquor store, coffee shop, and a restaurant. We went snowmobiling one of our days there and the check in for that was right below us. The condo was so cute and trendy an meet all of our groups needs! I do wish the hot tub was opened. I didn’t see on their site where that was closed bc of covid. But overall, great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone going to winter park!"

"This was one of our all time favorite vacation locations. Everyone had a comfortable place, even our dog. Kitchen was well stocked and the facilities were responsive to our requests. Clean and comfortable loft. Location is what we enjoyed the most. Easy walking distance to some great restaurants, market, hiking trails, sled hill and shops. Thankful for the family getaway and the connection we had. The loft played a big part in that connection."

"It was hard to leave Hideaway station unit 1, and let me tell you why. First of all, it’s location cannot be any more convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and easy access to the lift/bus service offers no need to get on the car! Secondly, we fell in love with it the style of the unit the minute we walked in. The condo is stunning, it offers a ton of natural light with its large windows - when snowing you actually feel like your in a snow globe! The kitchen is amazingly beautiful, fully equipped and has room for everyone to get involved or hang out. Also the staff was responsive to our technical needs regarding the fireplace- Tks Kyle & Jonathan. Upstairs you will find more room to relax & unwind with two full bathroom with radiant heat floors. All I can say we is we were truly spoiled and found it extremely hard to leave but we will return!"
