"We really enjoyed our time at this VRBO! it was a great location that was close to activities, but secluded enough to be quiet and relaxing! Only thing i would let me people know ahead of time is that there is a pretty steep hill to take before getting to the cabin, so make sure you bring cars that are able to make it! we had a great time and really enjoyed our trip!"

We hosted a “separate” but still together girls and boys adults only trip to celebrate our upcoming wedding! (girls in one cabin, boys in the other). it was so perfect. we loved the hot tubs, along with the ample space for all the guests, and the quiet atmosphere. it was a trip we will never forget and would love to come back for another trip in the future!"

"Upon arrival, with 20 basketball players that had been playing games all day, there was NO RUNNING WATER! I was told they wouldn’t come out until the next day so we would have to do without. Without similar accommodations for us to move, we requested a refund and was told we would get it. The following day we were told ownership refused a refund so they did NOT refund our $2000! UNACCEPTABLE!"

"We had a wonderful time at our stay and having two cabins worked perfect to have our youth girls in one and boys in the other. The water smelled very bad like sulfur/sewer in the showers and hot tubs. There is not ample kitchen supplies in each kitchen. One stove only had one rack so we were limited to how much we could cook for such a big group of 26 kids. Although the trip was a great success our biggest complaint was the directions. We had 6 cars and a van and we all got lost several times trying to locate the cabin. The leaves had completely covered the road so we could not even tell there was a road there and then we slid down the steep hill due to wet leaves in the rain. It was quite scary driving and finding this cabin, but once you are there it is good. We had plenty of space for everyone."

"We stayed in two cabins next to each other and had a great time. The cabins are well equipped with game rooms, wrap around porches with lots of rockers for visiting and enjoying the view, and plenty of room for our family of 18. But be warned, the roads to get there are winding and so steep that one of our group’s van could not get up the last hill without bottoming out. We hit an unmarked pothole/washout at the edge of the road that was about a foot deep causing damage to the van. I reported this and was told that road maintenance is the responsibility of the HOA and County, and was assured it would be reported to them, but the whole road experience put a bit of a damper on an otherwise wonderful trip."

"We had a family of 22 stay here ages 9-74. The cabins fit us perfectly and gave the kids lots of things to do. We loved having a Mountain View and being far enough away from crowded areas but close (15min from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, & Townsend) enough to do everything we wanted to do. There was plenty of level parking and it was easy getting in and out. We had some bees by the hot tubs and some in the upstairs and they responded to my email and had someone there the same day. I wish the banister was opened between the two cabins so we could run back and forth easier than going around but it wasn't a big deal. The one pull out couch had two dirty socks in it but I can see how cleaners can miss that. But the place was clean and everything worked as it should. The wifi could have been a little better but we did have 22 people on the wifi and we had no complaints. Thank you Beartootin for a memorable stay at the Sweet Cabins. Would definitely rent from them again."

"These 2 cabins were a great place for multiple families to have plenty of room. They definitely have the cabin feel (not super air-tight) -you can hear each other on the different levels:) There are no box fans or anything, so you might want to bring your own in the summer. The weather was perfect the last week of March, but I can see how the upstairs would get quite warm in the summer even though there is heat and air conditioning. Wi-fi worked great and TV's have cable plus there were some DVD players. The place provided an extra roll of paper towel in each kitchen, 1 extra toilet paper at each toilet plus some extra garbage bags and 4 dishwasher pods in each kitchen and 1 laundry soap at each place, so we didn't need much of the extras we brought. There were crock pots, coffee makers, toasters, and basic cookware plus plenty of silverware and dishes. Would have liked 1 really large cooking pot for noodles/rice, but we made do using several smaller pots. One kitchen even had salt/pepper so that was nice! There aren't extra towels--just what they describe so it was good the kids brought their beach towels for the hot tubs. There is only one small bar soap at each sink, so if you want liquid hand-soap, you'd have to bring your own. Also need to bring your own shampoo which we knew. The "subdivision" drive to get up to the house is a bit steep, but the driveway and parking area itself was flat. Hot tubs were great, plus billiards, ping pong, foosball, game machine. Everything was as pictured. These were the hikes and things we did: Metcalf Bottoms to Greenbrier School, Laurel Falls, Little River Trail from Elkmont Campground, Cascade Falls from Sugarlands Visitor Center, Cades Cove, Abrams Falls, Cosby Nature Trail, Newfound Gap-hiked a bit on the Appalacchian Trail, played at Wear Farm park in Pigeon Forge--great park! Cabins were in a good location to do everything in the area. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Found the 2 cabins to be dirty, some things had not been cleaned at all. Bugs on the dishes, had to wash all of them. Broken toilet, front door knob, pool sticks and ping pong paddles Direct TV had to come and fix some tv's. Trash area filled up quickly as I had 22 family members there. No trash pick up the whole 10 days we were there. They never answered my email as to what to do with the trash that didn't fit in the locked trash bins. I was very disappointed considering how much money it cost for the rental and the things that were dirty and broken. On the plus side, the cabins were ok, the area was beautiful, adequate sleeping areas and on our last day a bear visited us."

"I work in youth ministry, and I brought a group of 23 students (7-12th grade) and 6 adults to stay at Sweet Cabins for our annual "Mystery Trip. " While it was very difficult to get the bus TO the cabins - due to lots of steep roads and narrow paths, there was plenty of room for parking and a flat parking lot. Any other vehicle would have been fine! The view from the cabins is spectacular, and there are rocking chairs on the porch that offer the perfect place to relax. The boys stayed in the cabin to the left, and the girls stayed in the cabin on the right, and the cabins were separate enough that we weren't worried about mingling after hours, but they were close enough that they were able to hang out together during the day! The kids LOVED the hot tubs and the basements! There was a pool table, ping pong, a fuse ball table, and an old video game machine with Pac Man and other classic games! There was plenty of sleeping space, and the bed that I slept in was one of the most comfortable of my life. The cabins were very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay, including all the kitchen and dining equipment. Like others have mentioned, There is a bathroom on every floor, but not a shower on the main floor, which wasn't a huge problem for us, but it was slightly inconvenient. The walls are also pretty thin, so I could hear everything going on above us - but thankfully, everyone went to sleep at the right times so this wasn't a problem for us either. It is super close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and the views on the drive to the cabin were beautiful. Overall, I have no complaints, only praise for this awesome place. I highly recommend it! It's great for a large group looking to get away!"
