It was the perfect home to return to each day after all kinds of site seeing- clean, plenty of space to spread out in, terrific gathering areas for meals, games, movies and more. And yes, we saw a bear three times, once on the deck! We had one maintenance issue that was addressed right away and checking in and out were a breeze. Highly recommend!"

"We loved staying at the Majestic Eagle for a week and spent lots of time enjoying nature and doing some of the more touristy things. Overall, our favorite things included the motor nature trail/hike to Grotto Falls, renting bikes and biking the 11 mile Cade's Cove loop (only on Wednesdays and our kids are ages 6-17), picnicking at Chimney Top, eating at The Old Mill Restaurant (totally worth the wait), and the Pirate dinner show. (We also did Dixie Stampede and liked both, but the Pirates show was more impressive.) "

"When my family and I rent a VRBO we like to feel like we are right at home. The amenities of this home left a little to be desired (towels, bedding, dishes). First impression was dirty. Food crumbs on the floor, popcorn in the bedroom and the numerous wrappers and tissues that were found under the bunk beds in the basement while looking for an AirPod was a little concerning. All that being said the view from the back porch was worth the price paid. Saw several bears, in fact, while in the hot tub a bear greeted us through the lower deck rails. That was so cool!"

Only downsides- the road to get up to the cabin is VERY steep so it’s a little scary but we had no trouble once we got the hang of it and the hot tub water was brown and not hot so we didn’t get to enjoy that. "The first thing we noticed upon arriving, where the beautiful split rail fences, and accent lighting in the yard. We were pleased to see there was parking for for vehicles, paved, and right next to the cabin. In the morning, oh my goodness! We awoke to an amazing view of the mountains from the main deck! At the cabin was so peaceful, and very clean. There is enough room in this cabin for 12 adults, or a combination of adults and children up to 14 or 16. Each floor had its own full bathroom, with queen size beds, and a king bed on the main floor. We had so many options, we could enjoy the community pool, or fishing at the pond, or enjoying all of the local sites. The cabin is above Wears Valley, which is a peaceful community with great food and wonderful people. We were 3 minutes from the national park, the Foothills Parkway, and less than 15 minutes from Dollywood! It was so nice to be right near all of the attractions, and then come home to a peaceful Valley High in the mountains, with a gentle breeze most of the time. We will definitely return, and hope to come on motorcycles next time with friends. The paved parking would easily accommodate 12 motorcycles. Car clubs would enjoy this wonderful cabin, also! Eagle's Point will definitely have our business from here on out!"

On Thursday we went for a hike early morning and got to see a couple of Bears! The only thing was not enough room for all the trash 16 people have in a week. There needs to a bigger place to store the trash bags for a week. If you rent this house just know the hill is crazy to get up. We made it and loved it. Thank you Lynn"

"My college buddies and I really enjoyed our stay at the Eagle's Pointe cabin. They had ample kitchen supplies (especially a griddle) and enough supplies to last us our full 6 days. We had to drive a little farther to get to places on the Eastern side of the national park, but still, no drive more than an hour one way. A little scary driving up the hill to the cabin, but a fantastic view from the cabin and enough space for the ten of us. I would highly recommend NOT putting more than 12 people in this cabin if for more than 1 or 2 nights. It got a little bit cramped with just 10 of us for 6 nights. But it was a great time for us to bond and make fun meals and the kitchen was in very good condition. On the second to last night of our stay, the hot tub broke, so I called Bear Tootin'. I explained the problem and the woman on the phone said, “We'll have someone there in 20 minutes. ” That is insanely good customer service! The only complaint I have about the cabin is that we never got to see the people we were renting from. I usually prefer to see who I'm renting from, but the staff had a keypad lock on the door so we never talked with a staff member outside of hot tub maintenance. I know some people prefer that sort of renting experience, so I didn't take away a star for that. Overall, very high quality stay and a cheap cabin in comparison to competitors. Thank you, Bear Tootin'!"
