"Creekside Cottage is a very nice cabin with all the amenities one needs. It is very comfortable and situated in a small woods area with a short easy/flat driveway off the main road. There is no view of the mountains directly from the cabin but that was fine for us since we spent most of our time at the pool or driving around the area. Grocery store is short drive 10-15mins. But there is a Dollar General across the street for quick items needed, eggs, milk, bread, paper products, etc. The only suggestion is to install a water softener because the odor of the water is so strong it can make some people sick. I suggest having a lot of bottled water and take short showers. Brush teeth with bottled water. Other than this, it really is a wonderful place to stay. And we would consider staying again. The cover on the hot tub was difficult to remove because there is no access around the tub. We were only able to use half the tub. And the screened indoor porch would really be very nice to use but it's enclosed with plastic or plexiglass and it's very warm inside it. Even with the fans on it was too warm and not enough fresh air. The beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of towels. The house stayed a very comfortable temperature and was very clean inside. What we appreciated most was the convenient location in a quiet area and access to the pool which is very very nice. We used it every day.

Red Door Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your stay at Creekside Cottage. We're delighted to hear that you appreciated many aspects of our cabin, especially its location, amenities, and the pool. Regarding the water odor you mentioned, we're pleased to inform you that the issue was due to a part in the water heater that needed replacing. This has since been addressed, ensuring future guests will have a more pleasant experience. Your insight was instrumental in helping us rectify this, and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.
We also appreciate your feedback on the hot tub cover. While the fit is snug due to the designated space, please be assured that it is there for the safety and hygiene of our guests. As for the screened-in porch, we understand it might get warm in certain seasons; however, it serves as a great space for guests to enjoy, especially during the cooler months or when pesky bugs are around. We have additional porches available for those who prefer an open setting.
Once again, thank you for your valuable review. Feedback like yours is essential in maintaining the quality of stay for our guests. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Creekside Cottage in the future.

"This great cabin is in the perfect location if you are looking to be near all the fun sites, but not in the middle of the mayhem. We stayed for one week and felt like we were close enough to do everything we wanted at the park and both in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was well appointed, and all of the beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fenced in front yard for our pups, but if you have a squirrel chaser like I do, it might be smart to bring a long line. My squirrel chaser could hop that fence in a heartbeat to get at her favorite critters. The surrounding cabins were quiet and respectful, which is always a plus. I will note that as of July 2023 they are building a cabin in the neighborhood next door and at times it was loud. It did not bother us at all, but just something to mention if you want complete tranquility. Overall, we would stay here again in a heartbeat should we ever be in the area. I do highly recommend it."
