"If you’re looking for a calm and soothing vacation at the beach, don’t look any further. My family and I had a wonderful time, in a nice home with a great location. It’s quiet and a peaceful neighborhood with plenty of activities. The house was wonderful and situated looking at a beautiful marsh. Great sunrises! We truly enjoyed the surrounding area. Thank you! We’ll be visiting again soon!"

"This splendid vacation home was perfect for our 5-week winter getaway. Besides being beautifully furnished, well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped, the house has gorgeous views of the salt marsh and ocean. Unlike many other rentals, no golf cart is provided, but the beach is just 10 minutes away by foot. We would be thrilled to visit this property again."

"Harbor Island has been our winter getaway destination for several years but this was our first stay in this splendid vacation home. It is beautifully decorated with all furnishings in excellent condition. We love to cook and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen. There's no golf cart, but we like to walk and the beach is only 10 minutes away by foot. The rental agents were accommodating and efficient."

"This home is our "home away from home!" It was clean, comfortable, and had spectacular views. There was so much to do in the surrounding community. We spent time at the beach, kayaking, and hiking. The natural surroundings were breathtaking and the local cuisine was amazing. We will definitely be going back to visit!"

"I had a fabulous time at 33 nautical watch way. It is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities that gave me the feeling of being well taken care of. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and cooking utensils. Everything is very clean. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. I got better sleep than I've had for some time. The location can't be beat, in the middle of the beautiful sea grasses with the ocean in the distance. What a peaceful experience to sit on the deck listening to the birds and enjoying nature's landscape. The beach is beautiful and easily accessed either by foot or the golf cart. On a clear night, the stars seem close enough to touch them. It's magical. I highly recommend this rental. Jean Dutterer jdutterer@att. net"

"I loved the clean, bright decor, and the kitchen was stocked with every imaginable necessity and gadget. The view was beautiful and it was close to my family staying in another house 39b south harbor, and my nephew's wedding at Agape oaks House. The only complaint was not telling us ahead of time that all the water would be shut off due to work on the water main. I understand that freezing cold temperatures are beyond our control. I DID appreciate the call advising us to turn up our thermostat as high as tolerable and let every faucet drip trickle to prevent frozen pipes. We did that. Other than those things, we were all very comfortable! Thank YOU! Would be lovely to visit again during normal warmer temperatures!"

"Our stay here was just what our family needed; there is much to offer everyone at this lovely vacation home. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises over the marsh, abundant wildlife (a birder's paradise), and clear night skies with gorgeous views of the Milky Way. This beautifully appointed home offers a fabulously outfitted kitchen, dreamily comfortable beds with fine linens, and tasteful furnishings. The owners kindly provide wonderful fiction titles for one's reading pleasure in addition to having on hand helpful books that introduce visitors to the local area. We look forward to returning to this wonderful and welcoming home."

"Beautiful, comfortable home. Not your typical beach rental. The marsh view is breathtaking. We loved the area within easy driving of cute shops, great food, Hunt Island Park, Driftwood Beach, Beaufort, Port Royal, etc. Be aware that St. Helena beach is much more like being at the lake. The beach is quite a long walk, but beautiful with big hermit crabs everywhere, but due to its location there are no waves. We drove every day to Hunting Island Beach, just down the road, for real beach waves. TIP: GET A 7-DAY PASS! Worth it! It's not posted anywhere. There was no grill on the property. We missed having a blender for frozen drinks. The kitchen had conveniences like soaps and towels, but bring your own spices; there were very few. Overall we loved this house and our trip."

"We can not say enough good things about our stay here. The island and surrounding area is truly magical and this home is the perfect spot to enjoy & explore. The views across the marsh to the ocean are beautiful and we got to watch so many different birds throughout the day from the deck. The house has everything you could need including a comfy bed. It is super convenient to the community pool & beaches and also to Hunting Island. It was our home away from home during our trip and we hope to return very soon! Thank you so much for amazing hospitality and introducing us to our new favorite spot!"

"We really enjoyed staying, and appreciated the cleanliness, the decor, the books on local sites, and the fantastic view. Everything seemed in good working order, and we appreciated everything being updated and modern. The only issues we had were with the door to the freezer, as one side of the handle was not attached. Also, the shower handle in the guest bathroom turned with a lot of difficulty. Otherwise, we had nice towels, sheets, blankets, and enjoyed this well-appointed space. The only thing that was missing was a guest book! The listing photos were accurate, and I would recommend, and stay here, again. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"This was our third stay on Harbor Island and our first in a house. This home was beautifully furnished, and the kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated. The weather was mild all week, which allowed us to enjoy the stunning marsh and ocean views from the large back deck. An overall wonderful experience! We would definitely consider staying again!"

"Walking into this property and seeing the uninterrupted view of ocean in the near distance and the birds flocking in the marsh out the backdoor was amazing. The nature experience at Harbor Island is well tended. The community is known for the ecological care given to it's property. On one of our walks we counted eight beach entrance points, all well marked. Two swimming pools and a racquet club were practically out our front door. The house is decorated with high end furnishings that look to be new. Two bedrooms with ocean and marsh views was welcomed as one of us was ailing and found a retreat in the views from their bedroom. The kitchen was well appointed with high end appliances and numerous accessories in the pantry's. First beach rental for me that had an Instant Pot available. We plan on returning this summer to possibly view turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean."
