"The unit was in a perfect location. The golf cart was a perfect addition. The island is a great place to ride with your coffee in the mornings and with your beverage in the evenings to catch the most beautiful sunsets. The unit had all the essentials and was clean. We Enjoyed our stay."

"Place was cute, cozy, clean and short walk to the beach. If you have toddlers, this place has lots of little bookcases and such that are toddler height so you’ll constantly need to move things out of reach. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you’ll need and the new washer and dryer worked great. There are beach chairs in the back deck. The beach is fantastic for littles, you have to walk quite a bit for the water to reach your knees so we were able to let our little one run freely with no worries. There’s also a pool within the condo complex and the community pool is a walk away with a cute gift store that has a little bit of everything including Miscellaneous condiments (butter, ketchup etc.) things that can be grabbed quickly in a pinch. Overall, love the place just wish it wasn’t so cluttered and would probably rent a more of a minimalist home in the future. (But without children, it’s 10 out of 10)"

"Less than 2 hours from home, Harbor Island has become our 1 getaway place for the last couple of years, it’s easy to disconnect and slow down for a few days here. The beach is stunningly quiet with very little traffic, some mornings it was only us. Plan around moon phases if you don’t want such large shifts in the tide, but the extreme low tide just gave us more exploring to do. We’ve stayed at 3 different properties and so far this one was the best. It worked nicely for our small family - the bedroom had more than enough space for a pack-and-play and the pullout couch worked well for my older child. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, flatware, plates, cups, etc. (Not noted in the description but the coffee machine does take K-cups on top of traditional brewing). We were also pleased (and surprised) to see so many general supplies provided (cleaning supplies, soaps, detergents, brooms). This condo had plenty of beach towels, chairs, a wagon and umbrella at our disposal (although we normally bring our own). Having a golf cart this time was extremely useful and made it easy to explore more of the island than we had previously. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated and I didn’t feel there was anything at toddler height to be concerned about. I had a few inquiries before and during our stay and Tidewatch was very responsive. Although we enjoy checking out other units when we come down, this is definitely one to keep on our list."

"It was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The use of a beach cart, beach chairs, and beach umbrella made our trips to the beach easy and convenient. And the golf cart was a fun way to explore the area and all the amenities available. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Perfect place! Absolutely magical! So peaceful and relaxing sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean and the sea grass. We saw a Wood Stork fly past and listened to bird calls while watching the waves during the day. At dusk, we watched the colors turn over the sea grass and ocean as the sun set. Later, we watched the moon rise and the sky light up with stars. While you are sitting on the deck relaxing, you actually look up and see hundreds of stars in the night sky. Because Harbor Island has so little light pollution, the stars fill the sky. Every night before going to bed, we came back out on the deck and let the sounds of the ocean wash over us - makes for a great night's sleep (and it helps that the mattress is comfortable one). Because of this condo's location, you get a 180 degree of the ocean and sea grass and you get almost no passersby, making it very private. Another boon of this condo's location is that it's 1st floor and you can back right up to the few steps leading to the front door, making it an easy unload. There is also a condo pool nearby, right at the end of the building. Inside, the condo is tastefully appointed, comfortable, and cheerful! Two leather LaZBoy style chairs that recline with the touch of a button and a comfy couch to watch the huge TV and a cute wooden rocking chair to rock with the ocean or read your book. Beautiful kitchen with flowing granite and a bar with stools. Great coffee maker with option of Keurig or traditional pot of coffee. Every appliance we could need (toaster, blender, even a mini crock pot if we wanted to do fondue!) and plenty of utensils, silverware, cups and plates to set the table for 6 and eat under the beautiful heron and the cute whale's tail. We also explored the island on the golf cart, driving out to the docks overlooking the marsh, watching for gators. We stopped at the rookery and saw herons, egrets, and ibis, and drove to the island of the island to watch the dolphins. The condo also came with a State Park Pass for Hunting Island which includes a trip for 4 to the lighthouse but we never felt like leaving Harbor Island. Too peaceful! Can't wait to go back to this magical spot where time stands still and the dolphins play and the birds sing and the waves lull us to tranquility, leaning back in our deck chairs."
