GECKOS: They are gentle creatures that resemble lizards and eat bugs. Please pardon our geckos. Mother nature is still in control of our environment here in Hawaii. They are a natural pest control system. They may occasionally chirp so do not be alarmed.
ANTS & ASSORTED INSECTS: You may see small ants or other assorted insects around the home. They are impossible to eradicate in this tropical environment. They are attracted to the cool, moist environment that a house provides and should not be construed as a sign of uncleanliness. They particularly enjoy food that is left lying out. You can help reduce their visits by keeping the counters and sink clear of any open food and washing dishes promptly. Although the home is routinely sprayed for such insects, we cannot eliminate them.
During your stay, you may encounter some of the following, but don't be alarmed as the majority are harmless: Spiders - Roaches - Centipedes-
Keep screens, doors and windows closed, especially at night, to keep them out.
Sweeping them outside is best

"Clean and comfortable. Perfect for our large group. Had everything we needed. We have stayed in Princeville before, its our favorite side of the island. Neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely recommend this home!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and was well equipped for the 10 of us including my father who has stage four cancer- it will probably be our last holiday together so it was nice to have that time together. The only thing that was a little tough is that the kitchen and family room are upstairs so he had to climb the stairs a few times but that could be overcome as all the bedrooms and 4 of the 5.bathrooms are on the main floor. It was awesome to see the albatross nests throughout the neighborhood. The neighbors were really nice telling us all about them. Highly recommend! Get the poke at Foodland!"

"Our family had a beautiful and relaxing stay at this house! It had all the amenities and space we needed for our family of 6. It was close to so many North Shore beaches. We had a beautiful view to look at every morning and evening. We would love to stay here again if we return. Thank you!"

"Overall we had a great experience at the big house. Great views from the backyard, very spacious and well stocked. We had access to lots of beach stuff and boogie boards. The kitchen had plenty of dishware, appliances and such. It definitely could benefit from air conditioning. In the afternoon the upstairs is roasting hot no matter how many windows are open and fans are on. The house could also use some routine maintenance. For example: Screen doors were askew and wouldn't fully close and a window above the kitchen sink was broken. Overall, a very good experience that would have been a glowing review if there had been AC!"

"This was an amazing home for our entire family. We enjoyed gathering after the days adventures around the large dining table to play games. We had a minor issue with the fire alarms but management was fast to address the issues. Was a little disappointed there wasn’t beach access any longer but we were so close to so many other gorgeous beaches. Truly enjoyed our stay!"

"House was overall amazing and had so many extra perks like beach equipment, chairs, umbrella even an ice chest which came in handy that we didn't need to purchase these item to enjoy the near by beach. The house had plenty of room for our party of 12 staying there. Only had 2 complaints 1. No AC which I know alot of properties don't have cause the coastal breeze comes right thru but in the kitchen area the air gets stagnant and gets a Lil hot up there. The house did have about 6 floor fans that were a HUGE help although a couple of them were broken in one form or another but still blew...lol 2. Says beach is accessible but it's not really. The neighbor was pretty upset telling everyone that came thru there that there "was no access" cause all day I think the GPS shows access right there but it's only if u go thru someone's backyard which we weren't gonna do. So we drove over to the Sealodge cottages where they have a path to the beach which just a heads up is a 20min hike thru bush, rock and slippery mud so be prepared but worth it to the small secluded beach Other then that the house, host and whole transaction was a breeze and house is kept in well shape. Would def stay here again"

"Everything was fine until we reported some minor damage to the Agent ‘Arrived’. We were immediately debited for the damage without consultation or recourse to the damage waiver we had signed. This so called waiver covered damage up to $1500. Our trip was sadly spoiled over something that could have been negotiated amicably."

"The house is not as shown in the picture or description is very sketchy. There were only sleeping arrangements for 9 people. The utilities in the house like the fan, dishwasher, garbage disposal, sliding doors don’t work or malfunctioning.. It said it was a 2 -5 min walk to the beach which we never found, unless I go through someone’s property. The basic amenities like soap, shampoo, body wash were not provided.. The verbiage in the agreement is so threatening that you will be scared to touch anything there. Towel holders, faucets are all broken. Did not have any welcoming (Hawaiian love) feeling the way everything was handled.. The location is ok. It’s time consuming to go either on the east or the west or the south shore. Even the chairs for the beach are broken.. Overall very bad experience.. Kauai is extremely beautiful and loved it.."

"A perfect location near the coolest little beach. Quiet neighborhood at the end of the road. Spectacular outdoor seating with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the waterfall and daily morning rainbow. Bedrooms and bathrooms created comfort for 9 of us. We enjoyed having beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, bikes, and a nice cooler available. We used them everyday. The house did not have much airflow, even with windows and doors open, so plan on being warm. Maybe the owner could add a pair of binoculars also, otherwise plan to bring some! We were so happy with our stay! Thank you Laulea Hale and Arrived LLC!"

"We stayed as a family of 6 and there was space for everyone. Of all the vacation rentals I have never stayed somewhere with so many "living/gathering/social" spaces. Besides the huge kitchen/dining space and besides the huge office, there were 3 outdoor living rooms for gathering/relaxing. Most homes have bedrooms, dining, and one living room but we really could decompress, relax, and spread out in this beautiful home. There were no downside surprises at all. Everything was as-advertised and the home was gorgeous!"

"Upon our arrival we found the house to be beautiful with wonderful areas for us to socialize and enjoy some incredible views. We also lucked out in the fact that some albatrosses had decided to nest right out in front - that was amazing! The host really did a pristine job making the place spic and span clean. There were a number of items that we found to be broken, but after talking to the host she reassured me that she's working hard to getting those things fixed. Such is the case for living in paradise so close to the ocean where the salt water can be really corrosive on things. I do recommend staying here if your able to look past the few broken items and appreciate the rest of this marvelous space."
