Espadín LoHi
The Espadín is a curated guest experience, blending cool contemporary loft-style stays with local lifestyle, for the down-to-earth modern traveler.

All of our lofts come equipped with the amenities necessary for a happy, healthy, and productive lifestyle, such as designer-grade kitchens and spacious, impeccably designed, and decorated living spaces, with floor-to-ceiling windows (hellloooo views!) and excellent natural light (big golden hour vibes).

Our eclectic Mexico-City-inspired restaurant and tequila tasting room offering handcrafted Dona Loca Espadín Mezcal and delicious curated meals is female-owned and operated by James Beard award-winning chef, Dana Rodriguez, and CEO Dana Macfarlane. Dona Loca also owns Supermega Bien and Work-and-Class here in Denver.

Inspiring Wellness
Denver is known as one of the healthiest cities in the US, and LoHi is a great representation of why. With a plethora of juice bars, vegetarian restaurants, and fitness/wellness options, including Nurture: a well-care marketplace just a few blocks away, guests will be able to stay on top of their self-care game despite being on vacation.

Hotel wellness events such as weekly rooftop yoga, barre classes, and even ecstatic dance gatherings in the summer are offered as an added benefit for our guests to enhance their (nama)stay.

Each specific unit at the Espadín represents a small business in the neighborhood. We've collaborated with local artists to create a space for guests that is reflective of the creative energy of Denver's art community. From the Highlands Farmer's Market each Sunday to the city's best restaurants, you will love popping in and out of the hotel on the fly to explore the local vibe.

But first, coffee!
Coffee shops are a-plenty in the neighborhood, with Coffee for the People being the closest and offering great breakfast burritos and bagels. Method Collective, On and Off, and Novo are all so close by and are equally as great.

Food lover?
Our in-house restaurant is owned by James Beard award-winning chef, Dana Rodriguez, and offers an eclectic mix of Mexico-city-inspired cuisine.

We are also surrounded by the city's best restaurants which guests have the luxury of traveling to on foot, due to our central location. Duo and Root Down for a fresh, farm-to-table dinner, Linger for eclectic tapas, Avante for an assortment of food hall-style meals, Ohana for excellent fresh poke, Rush bowls for a quick acai morning bowl, etc. Many more options can be found on our Insta account page where we have local food recommendations from our favorite Denver foodies.

Vacation Libations anyone?
Zuni Street Brewery is just next door and is a very popular spot for locally brewed beers, plus they have live music in the summer! Recess, Avanti, Lady Jane, and Forest Room 5 are also great places for vacation libations. For more entertainment options, visit our IG page.

Traveling with kids?
Perfect! There are many kid-friendly activities nearby! Approx 15-20 minutes away is the Denver Museum of Nature and Science which boasts epic, educational galleries and an IMAX theatre, and right next door is the Denver Zoo!

Retail Therapy:
There are many locally rooted boutiques in the neighborhood such as Rustic Thread, Strut Boutique, Ruby Jane, and Inspyre.

Music Lover:
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is just 20-30 minutes away and is known to be one of the best outdoor
venues in the entire world. If you love music, or outdoor movies, we definitely suggest checking out their online schedule and purchasing tickets in advance due to strict capacity limits. *Inquire directly about limo/ party bus services.

Connect with Nature:
If you're into mother nature, you will love running, walking, and biking to the many nearby parks- with Sloan's Lake being the most popular, followed by Highland Park and Jefferson Park.

We are a 20-30 minute drive from the foothills which offers endless options for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and more. This is what Colorado is known for and we hope you take advantage of being so close.

Kindly be aware that the property does not have a designated parking. Street parking is the available option.

"My overall experience was very good. The apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and very clean. 3 reasons for not giving a 5 star: 1. parking is street parking only which is difficult to find a close space during the evenings. 2. Smoke alarm beeped for low battery for 6 hours before maintenance was able to replace battery (was high ceiling without a ladder tall enough for me to reach), so had to listen to a chirp for 6 hours. The maintenance man was very nice and apologetic..but was still 6 hours. If I could have reached it, I could have changed it myself. 3. On the day of check out, time to be out was 10am. While I was making multiple trips to move car and take several loads down, the code to main entrance and the code to the apartment door no longer worked…access was denied beginning at 9am. Had to wait outside until someone came out of the building to at least get in. Family was in the apartment, but I didn’t have my phone to call them. Please consider changing locks to after check out time to avoid a similar issue. Even with thaws issues, I would definitely consider and recommend for anyone to stay!"

First time to Denver and we will be back and recommend your place to friends and family. Only issue we had was that the bunk bed was very unstable and the sheets had a lot of static. "First, I have never met or stayed at a JZ Vacation Rental before and have been fortunate to stay at higher end hotel chains and resorts. I know that some people are insistent on the amenities, atmosphere, and dedicated services that five-star properties come with, but there is no comparison in pricing between a Four Seasons room or unit like this JZ Vacation Rental. It was spacious for a two-bedroom with nicely appointed and very clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The communication and follow-up with management before and after the visit is text book on how to maintain and secure repeat clients and referrals. Great Job! Thank you."
