"Loved my stay here. 2nd time @ the Sea Gypsy this year. Had more than enough room for family to visit. Location is in the middle of everything. Awesome view of the beach from the 3rd floor, as well as the immediate beach access from the 1st floor! Will continue to rent @ the Sea Gypsy for future stays in Lincoln City!"

"We love so many things about Sea Gypsy! We stayed in room 308 The Codfather. The room was very clean, spacious, and located on the beach! We really enjoyed the salt water pool, BBQ grills, and the laundry room. The front desk staff is AWESOME! Housekeeping and maintenance really go above and beyond to make sure everything is working and spotless! All of the staff we encountered were polite, efficient and super helpful. I highly recommend this property. It's worth every penny. We can't wait to return ️ ️ ️"

"All of the staff was very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed making reservations with Sydney as she was cheerful and helpful. Lindsay and Haley were also equally nice, friendly and helpful. There was a new worker at the desk he also was friendly. We look forward to come again if it is possible. The unit 308 was very nice and comfortable. It was nice to have a large table. The kitchen had quality appliances, all the beds were comfortable. There was nothing to complain about. We enjoyed just to stay in the unit to relax and did some cooking and watching the waves come in. Thank you for making it a nice vacation."

"The view out of the living room window was excellent. This space was well-appointed with three couches, lots of end tables, a flat-panel television on an articulating wall-mount, and lots of throw pillows. The bathrooms, though small, had nice fixtures and showers. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cookware (although, no hot pads). The pool was the perfect temperature and we ended swimming each morning! We ended up moving to the murphy bed on the first night, as the walls are thin and we could hear the neighbors and people passing 308 to their own condos. The murphy bed was a little hard and would have benefited from a pillow top mattress."

"Enjoyed the view as the storms rolled in. You might have the cleaning service hit under/between the couches and tighten the doorknob on the bathroom. We had a great time. Location is great. Hot tub is same temp as the pool. Pool was good. We’ll stay again."

"This was a great place right in the beach. We had to sleep with the window open just to listen to the waves. Place was very well stocked in the kitchen with utensils and cookware. Plenty of towels for everyone including pool towels. We thought it had a hot tub but it doesn't. Oh well the sauna was very nice. Can't beat the location right on the beach in central town. Would like to stay here again!"

"Overall our stay at the Sea Gypsy's, The Codfather was a good one. The customer service and ability to get a hold of someone with questions was top notch. The room was spacious, the kitchen was more than well stocked with dishes/utensils, and it was clean. Aside from the main bedroom, additional sleeping arrangements was well thought out. Although we have a small list of things we noticed needing addressing, we also do not want to nit pick. One item of note standing out were the windows and how they were not properly sealed. Given the stormy conditions during our stay, you could clearly feel air coming through them. This ties into the fact, we had to jack the heat to 80 just to keep it at a comfortable level where we didn't feel a chill in the main living area. Another item is the "fireplace" underneath where the TV is mounted, did not produce any heat when turned on, it just continued to blow cold air. We have something similar in our home and tried the various modes but nothing worked. Not sure if this is a known issue. At the reduced rate, it was well-worth the stay and we would consider visiting again in the Summer."

"Excellent, excellent location and the view from the third floor is outstanding! Believe me when I say we are not "neat freaks, " however, we were disappointed regarding room cleanliness and overall upkeep of Room 308: The Codfather. We checked-in around 5: 30 PM for our 5 night stay. Immediately we noticed that the carpets had not been vacuumed - even a 7-Up plastic cap was sitting in the middle of the floor. Bathroom vanity lights were super dusty and one bulb even burned out. Another burned out bulb in kitchen light, entranceway, and in ceiling of the master bathroom. It also looked like the mantle above the fireplace as well as dining room chairs hadn't been dusted in some time. In the online photo of the room, there was a table by the front window for a place to put your morning coffee or even room for snacks or a meal. We were very disappointed that table was missing (side note: We were later told by one of the housekeepers that the table was broken by one of the guests and not replaced - to her benefit she did find an extra table and brought it up for us - not quite the same height or size as indicated in the photo, but at least a table). We went down to the front desk to voice our concerns about the carpets, burned-out bulbs, and dust. Wasn't the room supposed to be cleaned before we checked-in? We really appreciated that they jumped on it immediately and, within 10 minutes, two housekeepers came to our room and vacuumed, dusted, and replaced most of the burned-out bulbs. The housekeepers were quite apologetic and did an excellent job of taking care of everything. Thank you! Overall, the Codfather (Room 308) just seemed worn-out. The large dining room table, accompanying chairs, and living room end tables definitely need to be refinished. Master bathroom needs to be re-caulked in shower (super black - yuck). Again, I can't describe it any differently except the room just had a worn-out feel to it. For the price we paid at the Sea Gypsy for Room 308, it just didn't seem up to standards. The location is so unbelievable, but we will be looking at other lodging options for our next visit to Lincoln City."

"Everything was great. Just problems with the bathroom with the glass sliding doors. Drain needs draining same for the sink. Biggest problem, was the edging on the bottom of shower was black. Tried to clean it off, would not budge. Needs either a good scrubbing or new edging, Also whoever cleans, needs to vacuum under couches. When you fold bed out there was dropped food. Other then that, it was great. We had a good time. See you next year."

"Loved the place, the view and the beach access. We stayed in the Codfather and the 5 of us each had our own bed. However, we were all 65 and the stairs were rough on us. It limited the pool and beach for us because a couple struggled getting up and down."

"We loved the condos 308 and 309 for our family vacation. The condos were spacious, clean, beautiful view, and the pool was a real hit. the only thing that was a negative was the steps instead of an elevator. My husband doesn't do well with steps. But all in all - it is a very great place to stay. Also when i made my many calls, all of the employees were more than helpful. Thanks so much! Herb and Jonelle Krakau from Boise Idaho"

Added bonus was the convenience of a washer and dryer in the room, definitely a plus. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and even a crock pot so we enjoyed cooking. Overall enjoyed the location of the room as well for heading down to the beach and the pool. We have stayed in a few rooms but this is definitely our favorite"

"Kitchen was pretty well stocked. We were able to sleep our 8 people rather comfortably. Grandma & Grandpa took the bedroom, daughter and husband took the Murphy bed, 4 grandkids (from Vegas and had never been to Oregon) used the 3 sofas. Large dining table held us all. Very nice to have washer/dryer in unit. Great location for exploring the beach and pool was fun. Thank you."

"The Codfather was amazing. Super spacious with everything we needed. We had plenty of towels and supplies for our two night stay. The two small pull out sofas were easy to stow during the day and pull out in the evening, and super comfortable! All the beds were amazing, we slept so well! Easy access to the beach. Lots of food options available for takeout. We didn't end up cooking, but the full kitchen is definitely a bonus! We loved being able to reserve the pool for 45 minutes and have it all to ourselves. Great room, awesome weekend. We love staying at the Sea Gypsy!"

"This room was very large with so much seating. The large dining table fit our big family and allowed for us to spend time together for meals and game time. The large bedroom was nicely decorated and there was PLENTY of room for the pack and play that was provided for us. I appreciated, as a mom of 5 boys, that there wasn't too many little decorative items around the room for kids to grab and break. That was a stress reliever for me. It was still Very LOVELY and we REALLY enjoyed this HUGE room. The pool was fun and the kids had a blast swimming. It was an EXTRA bonus having two bathrooms with a large family. The close beach access was also wonderful and it was so easy to walk down and take the kids to play. Having a washer and dryer was A LIFE SAVER and we were able to return home with all CLEAN clothes. I much appreciated having detergents provided. That was so thoughtful and it seems that there owners care about their guests just enjoying and being carefree during their stay. We were pleased to find beach chairs and sand toys to play with as well. That was SO GREAT. This really is a family friendly location and our family will be back. We've shared with friends about our stay and two have ALREADY booked rooms at the sea GYPSY."
