Sea Gypsy No. 106, which we call "Head over eels," is a unique ground-floor condo with hardwood-style floors and a cool vibe.

There are no stairs to this condo. You can open your glass-sliding door right onto a grassy patio, which is just steps from the sand. No. 106 was remodeled from head to toe in 2015 with updates including new flooring, paint, cabinets, fixtures and more!

This condo can sleep up to four people. There is a super comfy king bed in the master bedroom. The oceanside suite has a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Enjoy the convenience of two full bathrooms as well as a full kitchen with tons of cookware, including a crockpot, popcorn popper, panini press, blender and more!

There is complimentary password-protected Wi-fi in this condo as well as a Bluetooth speaker for you to sync your smart phone or MP3 player. For more fun, take a dip in our heated indoor salt water pool then dry off in our cozy sauna.

The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the famous D River, the shortest in the world. In the spring and summer your kids can play in the shin-deep river. In the winter you can watch migrating salmon scamper up the water. A short walk on the beach north takes you to some tide pools with sea urchins, hermit crabs and other surprises.

"We really enjoyed our stay. Easy checkin and out with digital lock. The condo was exactly as pictured and comfortable. It rained almost the entire time (typical for Dec.) but we were still able to get on the beach twice in between breaks. It didn't bother us as our primary goal was writing, writing, writing which we easily accomplished as the room was quiet (except for crashing waves). The sunshine finally appeared with no wind for our checkout day and I was considering asking to stay one more day, but we had other commitments. Instead, we checked out and then spent two hours on the beach before driving home. This unit is ground floor and perhaps 30 feet from steps for beach access. We will return to the Sea Gypsy for sure. We might try another ground floor unit to compare and then choose which we want for future writing retreats. Returning to this one is definitely on the list as well. We also tried the salt water pool. Plenty large for swimming or lounging, but the temp was a little cold. I'd prefer it up 10 degrees. However, the Sauna was perfect."

"Disappointed that dirty sheets from hide away bed were left in corner chair. Furniture was dusty & entire floor was very sandy when 1st arrived. Loved key pad entry into unit. Access to beach & swimming pool was excellent. We enjoyed are stay."

"Loved the view and the two bathrooms, the place was spotless. The kitchen is well stocked (but could use a real cutting knife) with cooking and eating utensils and pots/pans. The only issues my guest and I faced were people (kids) walking/running infront of our sliding door frequently to get to the beach so if you're someone who enjoys complete privacy, this will be a challenge. Surprisingly, there was no sound coming from the rooms next door and only minimal from the people upstairs. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and access to the beach and restaurants was wonderful."

"It was perfect! Wanted to check early but it was a busy weekend so they could not accommodate and the WiFi was down for a short period. Those small issues were it. The weather was great. Check in was easy. The place was clean and everything a person needs was there. The bed was a little squeaky"

"106 Head Over Eels was an excellent experience. The location of the property and the unit itself was conducive to relaxation and peace. Since the unit was closer to the middle of the building, we didn't have a ton of people walking by our door to get to their rooms. The neighbors were reasonably quiet and very respectful. Although you could hear footsteps above us and the occasional conversation outside the door, we really didn't have any issues at all, and certainly nothing to complain about since we understood that this is an old building and that is to be expected. There were a few things within the unit that could be improved and are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars. Whenever the water was run in the kitchenette sink, it smelled terrible. I think there may be something that someone attempted to wash down the drain with the disposal that didn't completely get flushed away. I was really thankful to have a good ceiling fan in the bedroom, but the light that is in it is so dim, you literally can't see anything! We had to the use the bathroom light to be able to see in the bedroom. Overall these were minor issues that really didn't affect us too much on our short weekend getaway. It was a fabulous stay and we will definitely return!"

"We had such an awesome time! This was our 3rd stay and we always enjoy it there! Everything was clean and welcoming. The people upstairs were pretty loud but it wasn't anything terribly annoying. The bed and pillows are not great, though! Would definitely recommend getting new pillows and at least a mattress pad for some fluff! The mattress itself is pretty hard. Besides those things, the place was great! Fully stocked and super clean kitchen was awesome!"
