"We had a highly stressful time getting to the rental due to unforeseen issues with the i70. Thankfully the rental was easy to park and get into. However, the property management was very unempathetic. We were basically in the unit for less than 12 hours and their communication about check out was confusing, more stressful, and of course they charged us more for checking out past 10 am (!) which is a crazy early checkout time."

"Location was awesome.
We have 4 kids so the Elevator being broken and having to walk up and down the stairs was a lot. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor. The shower door handle was broken. It just seemed like nobody cares to fix the little things broken in the condo. Check out is also 10am which seems a little early and they charge you $20 and hour to stay later. Overall we would stay in this building again but try a different unit."

"The condo was spacious for a family of 4. The location was good for adults to ski in/out but not as convenient for ski school. I

The only condo elevator was broken our entire stay which made getting luggage up and down difficult. The outdoor fire pit was also broken.

The bed in the master was very hard and uncomfortable.

Our kitchen sink backed up the first night. By the next morning, water was leaking from below the dishwasher/sink onto the kitchen floor. I called maintenance that afternoon and they came fairly quickly. Unfortunately he spent 2 hours in our kitchen, which was right next to the living room, while we were trying to relax as a family, yet was unable to fix the problem. He said someone would be back the next morning, yet they never came. We were unable to run the dishwasher or use our kitchen sink past the first night. This lead to a dirty and smelly kitchen/living room and a real inconvenience."

"We have stayed at Lone Eagle condos for the last 4 or so times we've skied Keystone. Lone Eagle spoils you! It's perfect for ski-in, ski-out convenience, and which is great with a group & kids. I'm glad our unit was on the second floor, as the elevator was not working (and seemingly has been on the fritz since July based on other reviews; hope the HOA resolves this soon). It also seemed that the hot tub was having problems with heat, so hope the HOA can address this as well.

This particular condo was the least nice unit we've stayed in. As mentioned by others, the furniture is literally shredded and falling apart. The wifi did not work. The oven was dirty and smoked out the condo when preheated. The carpet was frayed and dirty looking. So, definitely not up to the standards other condos at Lone Eagle have set, but it was well priced for the accommodations and location."

"This condo has the BEST location for true ski in/ski out. But keep in mind that this is an old condo complex. There is only one elevator for the entire building of probably 50 condos. And the last two years I have stayed there it has been broken! So be prepared to hike up a lot of stairs with your luggage and gear. You really want to book on the first or second floor. The furniture must have been original: all was worn, threadbare or broken. Reminded me of a college apartment. But you don’t need to worry about any damage - it is already there. Cleaning was minimal, but I always bring my own supplies and only took a few minutes to ensure it was disinfected. Appliances are workable (had a cheap replacement microwave to use while the actual one was broken). But the beds were good although a bit sof for us. We came to ski, so really don’t care about these things, just keep your expectations low. The ski locker room is very good. Fire pit wasn’t working and based on overall cleanliness I stayed out of the hot tub. Parking garage is limited if you are there during peak weeks; especially for a large Yukon XL type SUV air truck. If you expect to use the ski school, this place would not be convenient."

"This was my 4th stay at Lone Eagle and I will make sure I don’t get 3015 again! The water pressure was terrible, oven door did not close all the way, dishwasher did not work and unit was dirty. There were crumbs on the floor by the window in kitchen but the vacuum roller was so full of hair and fuzz it wasn’t even on the vacuum so I could not clean. The 2nd bedroom was tiny and hardly room to walk. This should not be labeled to sleep more than 4. The only big skillet had stuff stuck to it and was bent. The spatula was melted on the end and could not be used. The owners of this unit need to restock cookware and fix the headboards. There was a gap between the mattress and headboards and your pillow falls through. It was the worst experience I have ever had here. For a two bedroom it was the smallest unit we have ever stayed in."

"We stayed at LoneEagle last year & absolutely loved it. We were looking forward to our second year however, we left rather disappointed. The room was not up to “LoneEagle standards”, especially for the price we paid. The floors were not cleaned at all. I began cleaning the room when we first arrived. The vacuum cleaner didn’t work so that explained why it was left dirty but the kitchen floor was not mopped or even swept. We found shards of glass so left our slippers on the entire stay. The MA shower leaked so bad we had to use our extra towels to soak up the excess water daily. The door handle to the shower was broken as well. In addition, the hot tub was out of order when we arrived. The pool was too cold to swim in. By Wednesday evening, they said the hot tub was fixed. It was not “fixed”. It looked like someone poured bubble bath in it which means it’s full of bacteria. It may seem like we are being “picky” but for the price we paid & the experience we expected, this was not worth it. We will not return next year. The summit employees we spoke to were very friendly & we understand it is out of their control. We have visited Keystone for our annual family trip for the past decade however, we will look into a different mountain next year."

"This is our second year in the same unit. Everything was great -- getting skis on from the locker room and stepping onto the slopes is great. Condo was fully stocked, everything worked, and it was very comfortable.

Prior to arrival, we received NO information about limited access to the hot tub and pool, and I assumed access would be explained in our welcome packet. It was not. I finally went to he spa area and found a QR code to reserve space. Ever slot for the entire week was booked. That sucked. I know this is a Keystone issue, but if you all know about this and can warn us ahead of time, that would be the least consideration.

Also, you might suggest that with limited access due to covid, units should be limited to one session per stay or that all guests should be guaranteed at least one session per visit, to either accept or decline."

"The location was outstanding. Property was clean and nice. Beautiful building. The one thing that stood out and which was completely at odds were the beds and pillows...cheap, cheap, cheap. For a property like that, put some beds and pillows in there that fit the property and the concomitant rent being charged. Also, the static in the sheets was awful - I understand we are at altitude, but use some Bounce or fabric softener when you dry the sheets. With the lights out, you could literally see these amazing blue sparks going off everywhere as you moved the sheets around. I'm not sure I've ever seen that. As for the management company, that's hard to rate - a person was not involved. They are now relying on technology to get you there and along with providing all the information about the property. It was a bit like a treasure hunt - you have to find a lock box with your keys. When you open up the lock box, there were about 30 envelopes in there with everyone else's keys - presumably these were all the other people staying there for the weekend. I guess this is the future, but if you're not familiar with Keystone, then I imagine you would be at a disadvantage. Anyhow, I'm digressing a bit. Overall, I expected more for the price level of this property."

"The unit and Location were wonderful.
- There were no Instructions or notice of a provided locker. We figured it out
- In a unit of that grade and class a king bed would be expected in the master, not a queen.
- the unit needs additional glasses replenished.
The inventory was depleted
- the washer and dryer were loud in that
Location.
- I was offended by the management company that
Demanded an additIonal $20.00 fee because I arrived early (after 12 noon)
The unit had not been rented the day prior. They called it a rush fee.
I sourced this on VRBO to try to by pass all the management fees.
The extra $20 was a slap in the face.

"I will begin by saying that overall our stay at a Summit County Mountain Retreats rental property was very enjoyable and the Lone Eagle Condominium location and amenities are unsurpassed at Keystone.

That said there several issues with the Lone Eagle 3015 property that we feel you need to be made aware of. The most concerning item is that the carpet adjacent to the kitchen tile is frayed and the tack strip that is normally under the carpet is exposed. Unfortunately this damage resulted one of the members of our party puncturing a toe while walking between rooms in stocking feet.

There were also a couple other items that bear mentioning. The dishwasher door hinge was broken, the humidifier in the master bedroom was non-functional, there were multiple bulbs out (we replaced the ones that we really needed), and the exhaust fan was not working. Additionally, within hours of arriving at the property the partial rolls of toilet paper that were supplied were gone. There was no more to be found in the Condo so we had to call and have it delivered the next day.

I understand that most of these shortcomings are inconsequential, however we had reasonably high expectations given the amount of money we paid to stay at this property. This was our first experience with Summit County Mountain Retreats after having stayed in Summit Cove managed properties in The Springs for many years. It is unfortunate for all that our expectations were not completely met.

The biggest issue, and one that I hope will be remedied immediately is the fact that a guest was injured simply walking through the condo."

"Great location and well maintained property. The only minor inconvenience was all the rental conditions that came along with $100 cleaning fee. If you're going to charge $100 cleaning fee, please reconsider asking renter to remove all trash, load dishwasher, etc. I would hope that charging $100 cleaning fee would accommodate for these types of things."

"We went up for Labor Day weekend to do some golfing and hiking. We couldn't have picked a better place! The condo was right next to the slopes, next to the gondola, 2 min walk from the main village, and the room itself was extremely clean, new, and very nice! Recommend this place to anyone who would like stay near River Run! The only thing to be cautious about is that you are only allowed 1 vehicle to park in the garage unless you pay extra I believe, if you have more than 1 car, you have to park in the River Run parking lot which is a little hike but you are so close to everything that we never had to go to the car as we walked everywhere! ps. the pool, hot tub, and steam room were great!"

"Beautiful building, great location, minutes from village. Our second stay here. This condo has everything that you need. Open any window to hear the snake river running directly behind the unit. The furniture is a bit worn. The only negative is the mattresses and pillows. They are old and need to be replaced. Other than that, it's a great place."

"There isn't a better location for lodging than Lone Eagle. This was our first visit but wont be the last. It is well worth the money. The driveway is heated so no ice or snow where you walk or drive. Management is OUTSTANDING!"

"We stayed in Unit 3015 for one week on a family vacation, and our son was married on the top of Keystone. It was the perfect location, an easy walk to the gondola and the village. The unit was spacious, clean, and well equipped and even had 3 humidifiers which were very helpful. The pool, hot tub and exercise room were all on-site next to a beautiful grill and sitting area with a view of the ski slope. Our unit looked out over the river and it was nice to see and hear the water."

"The Lone Eagle building and location are awesome! The unit we stayed in could use some updating and improvements. The unit does not have wireless internet, and in 2014 this is pretty much a standard. The pots and pans are horrible and need to be replaced. The TVs are small and not in great working order. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and showers were okay. Maybe add a new shower head in master. The unit had great access and the ski lockers were very nice. I will be back to the complex, just not this unit unless they upgrade/update some of the features."

"We loved the place! We have stayed at other condos in Keystone and this is the best place to stay on the mountain. A true ski in / ski out. We plan on staying here again. Also, the booking process was so easy."

"My wife, teenage son and myself had a wonderful experience at this condo. We loved the building, location and amenities. The rushing Snake river that we could hear from the living room and bedrooms was lovely. The kitchen had everything that you could want. Loved being able to take a shower with a tree house view. We were walking distance to the village and the gondolas. The only negative was the mattresses are a bit old and need upgrading. Other than that, we would stay there again in a heart beat!"

"Excellent all around. Room and building were well maintained. Loved hearing the river through open windows at night. We stayed midweek during the summer, so it was very quiet; nice separation from the village, yet easy walk to get there.

Room was perfect for our family of four, and it had everything we needed (even coffee filters and plenty of paper supplies).

Secure underground parking was welcome when we arrived in a rain storm. (Note to others...We arrived late and everything was closed. Wish we would have stopped at Dillon on the way in for dinner/essentials that we didn't pack.)

Keystone staff were all friendly and helpful. We hated to leave, and we would stay here again. Not only convenient to the Keystone resort facilities, but also to the region. We went North for hiking and South for rafting...fished nearby. Great trip!
