"Place was as described. Very large place surrounded by trees. The Summit County short term rental restrictions on parking are a bit of pain for renting a large house but we made it work."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. We ran out of hot water a few times. The main living area was difficult to use in the late afternoon until almost sunset due to the sun shinning in. The beds are very firm. The kitchen suited our needs very well. The management company was very responsive and friendly."

"I had booked this home in April for a large group of us to stay for five days in June. Originally, it was only for 11 guests but I was able to message the host via the VRBO app to add 3 additional guests. They were quick to respond & gave me great feelings about how the visit would be.

Three days before our stay, I received a text from "Summit County Mountain Retreats" saying that the fridge is out of commission & would take maybe a couple of days. Day of our stay, I asked for an update & they said that it has to be replaced so they gave us a smaller fridge. We arrive & there were two small dorm fridges in the kitchen. For the time that we were there, we had to mostly live out of our coolers because we brought food for 14 people for 5 days. That night we tried to use the hot tub & it was more like a lukewarm tub with hit or miss jets. When we texted about it & the 99 brand shooter bottles lining the doorframe, they said they were notified that morning that it needed a part.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of others things that were of concern to us that impacted our stay. Privacy wall near hot tub is a safety hazard, had to buy more trash bags, bunk bed was not stable so made the top bunk unusable, at least one dining room chair was bent & unusable, blood-looking stain on living room pillow, dishwasher that didn't wash & had broken glass at bottom, overall not cleaned well (cobwebs, mystery splatters, etc.), uncomfortable beds, & barely enough hot water for two people to shower.

After requesting to have a point of contact to express our concerns, they simply asked for us to text them instead of calling. They offered an small refund when compared to the inconveniences that we encountered. Some of the main features that we looked for in our stay were a hot tub & a fully functioning kitchen. With this property, we got neither.

I would not recommend renting this property until the safety, cleanliness, and attention to comfortability"

"We had a wonderful time at this property and the neighborhood is a very nice and quiet place to relax. We would like to come back. The only problem we had is that the refrigerator was not working and some food was spoiled, also there was not enough hot water for bathing, it was only enough for two people and the rest of the 11 people we were there had to bathe with cold water; I can't imagine being there in winter without enough hot water, I think it is a very important detail to consider. Otherwise we were very happy with the place, it has a beautiful view."

"The house layout, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was just right for our extended family of 13. We had privacy for sleeping and space for living that made the house very comfortable. The updated kitchen and master bath were well done, attractive and functional. However, housekeeping improvements are necessary. Sheets were dirty (found a sock), carpets were dirty, and they didn't notice a huge piece of the dishwasher was not attached. We've stayed in dozens of short term rentals and never experienced "dirty" like this. Even the puzzles and games we opened had hair and food crumbs. Homeowner needs to replace the twin beds and bedding. Good location with easy access to Mountain House base, but we wouldn't consider coming back without a cleaning overhaul and furniture improvements."

"Great place for a large group! The tv in the living area downstairs didn’t work and none of the deck areas were shoveled which made them a bit hard to use. A few other minor things like a screen door downstairs was broken but the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook for a big group. Hot tub works great! Overall a great place we will definitely be back!"

"The house was gorgeous in a very beautiful location. It was spacious and clean. We had several issues with house and they were handled promptly but was still very frustrating. If the house was properly maintained I would definitely recommend this property."

"For the money, we couldn’t have found anywhere that could accommodate as many people. We loved the area, the layout of the house, the gathering areas, and the outdoor deck, patio, and hot tub. The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any vacation rental we’ve stayed in, making cooking meals for a crowd easy and convenient.

In my opinion, the property is best suited for 1-2 couples with small children. A large group of adults is going to find the beds leave something to be desired, with most of them being twin beds and all of them lacking a bit in comfort. I would gladly return and even pay more for an upgrade to the sleeping accommodations.

Overall, we had a great experience and felt the price was fantastic. Thank you!"

"This was truly the perfect house for a summer mountain getaway. The massive deck and open concept living space were ideal for enjoying time with family and friends while the bedrooms spread out on three floors gave people their own space. The management company was incredibly on top of it and very thorough with their communication and information. We spent time in Keystone and Silverthorne which made this house the perfect location. It was a bonus to have a second living room space and hot tub. It VERY comfortably accommodated 12 adults."

"Skiing trip to keystone with Family. From Grandmother to grandchildren we had lots of space to spread out and lots of sleeping options. Appreciated the humidifiers in house. And it was nice to have the lotion in each of the bathrooms. Lots of dishes and kitchen cookware and utensils to make cooking easier for the family. Close to slopes and shopping in nearby cities. Property management responded quickly to any request and offered suggestions on activities and eating. Overall a nice home to share with friends or family."
