"Had work in the area and stayed here for 7 days. Had to deal with an at home emergency and was thankful for the excellent phone and internet/WiFi connectivity. Close, no more than an hour to several Idaho and Montana fly fishing waters. I especially liked the information sent ahead of time about what was provided in the cabin and ideas about what to pack; very helpful! Checkout instructions were also very clear. Appreciated the early check-in which I asked for somewhat last minute."

"We absolutely loved the location. The lack of light pollution meant we could see an extraordinary number of stars and the Milky Way. Easy drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone NP. However, there were some issues. First, the WiFi. We could find no router on the property, only an extender. The best signal was outside or down the road, which led us to believe Kabino has 1 router for multiple properties. WiFi in the property was beyond spotty. Second, cleanliness. Dead bugs on window sills, cobwebs throughout, and live termites in the bathroom are the most pertinent examples. Finally, state of amenities. The pillows were the flattest I’ve ever seen. The sofa was so worn in it was uncomfortable. Towels were stained or had rips. The shower head was initially directed toward the shower door and was difficult to adjust leading to water spraying out onto the bathroom floor; after a long day of travel, this was an annoyance. I had reasonable expectations based on the price but was disappointed. I hope Kabino takes this feedback and makes the necessary adjustments."

"The cabin was cozy and perfect for my small family and furbaby. We had everything we needed to cook meals at the cabin. The cabin was cozy and perfect for post-hikes/adventures. The cabin is easy to access and the host is responsive. There’s Wi-Fi and cable which could be spotty at times, but overall pretty reliable esp considering we’re out in the wilderness & it was super stormy this past weekend. There’s several beautiful hikes nearby, and Yellowstone was easily accessible. We could get to West Yellowstone in around 30min or so. Check out Radu’s coffee & waffle booth nearby on US-20. The coffee and Yellowstone waffle are delish, and the location is right on the river. Beautiful place to eat and play before or after your adventures. We loved the location, and look very forward to returning to Kabino and the area very soon!"

"This cabin had plenty of room for our family of four plus dogs. We had enough room for their crates, too, without feeling crowded. Plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, and full size washer and dryer. Windows are well placed and allow a nice cross-breeze to cool off the house in the afternoon. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood and visiting hiking trails nearby. Yellowstone is about 45 minutes away and a grocery store with everything you need is about 10 minutes up the highway."

"The instructions and rules were clear and easy to follow. We traveled with our 2 dogs and there was a nice space for them to go to the bathroom and could easily walk them on the roads around the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking tools, and it was nice having the ability to do laundry! We booked it to be able to go to Yellowstone and it was about 45 mins to the west gate from the cabin, which was nice being away from the tourist crowds, but not to far from the restaurants and shops. It was an easy, quick, and pleasant check in and check out, and recommend this stay for anyone passing through with a family or dogs visiting Yellowstone!"

"We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Remington Retreat in Island Park! The mark of any good getaway is how you feel when it's time to leave. A sense of sadness hit us all as we had to say goodbye (for now) to this cute cabin. It was my wife and kid's first time in the area, they completely fell in love. We enjoyed snowmobiles and bonfires in the back country and plenty of quality cabin time together over President's Day weekend. The snow was coming down all weekend keeping a fresh blanket over this winter wonderland. Any concerns of how this cabin would stay warm over such a blustery weekend were quickly put to rest. Nothing is better than being warm and cozy in a cabin after a long day of playing and cozy it was! Kabino Vacation Rentals were on point every step of the way providing us emails with information, things to do and all of the little details we needed to feel right at home. I loved the app they also provided making sure all of that information was always at our fingertips. First class all the way around, thank you!"

"The cabin was loved by all our family members during our stay for the YNP trip over a regular weekend. Bathroom usage was a tricky affair. It was kind of a attached bath for the master bed and caused difficulty with usage for the other members of the family in the 2nd bedroom. Was a minor compromise and we did away by informing the family in the master bed that the bathroom is being used. Otherwise, was a pleasant stay with the newly upgraded kitchen/microwave appliances and the bunk bed. Note that the photos had not been updated at the time of our booking. The kitchen now has a 4 coil stove with a full fledged microwave. Shower head has seen an upgrade as well."

Property manager was wonderful in helping us get in the first night. If you are going to shop for groceries, small store north of town, big store south of town but further away. Watch out for sheriff - nice but likes to stop out of staters. Directions for dumping trash need to be better. Several good places to fish and raft close by. Loved Yellowstone - bring ponchos.
