"My group loved this cabin. It was off the road slightly, so we did not hear much traffic. The outdoor spaces to read and relax were plentiful. We really enjoyed hearing the stream next to the cabin. Wifi, grill and hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint I heard from my group was that the upstairs shower was small and we should have put our shortest couple up there instead of our tallest."

"We had a lovely time at Creeksong. This was our 2nd visit; first one being prior to 2010. Since then we have stayed at 3 other cabins and always commented "but it wasn't "Creeksong" -- we finally made it back. It rained EVERY day, but we thoroughly enjoyed the covered outdoor fireplace. BUT we did notice a few things that should and could be easily addressed to live up to the "luxury" that's advertised and expected. Our suggestions would be: 1. to repair the broken screens -- there were at least 3; and 2 doors seriously rub the deck/floor.
2. repair the hot tub; all the headrests and the cover off the side filter are missing (the latter is also a safety hazard.
3. the bottoms of the grills need to be degreased 4. the left stove top light is burned out
5. the pans, dishes, glassware and silverware all matched on our first visit, and we noticed and appreciated it -- now it's a mismatched mess. Many of the pans have reached a point that they simply should be tossed. It's time to "start over" with new, matching kitchenware.
6. Not a single light is bright enough to read by.
7. One of the rocking chairs by the fireplace outside is broken.

We understand and expected some "wear and tear" but to be advertised as "luxury" -- these items should be addressed. An afternoon would probably do it! We felt the upkeep was being neglected."

"We took a family vacation and everyone loved the layout of the house. Relaxing by the creek while our grandsons played in the creek was heavenly. There was so much room for the boys to play in the yard.
Elk Springs is a great company and responded to our call to empty the outdoor garbage bin within a few hours of the call. We will definitely go back next year. A rating!"

"What a wonderful home! Beautifully built, spacious and surrounded by nature. Generous sizes rooms with nicely appointed furnishings. They thought of everything, down to the 4 (yes, 4!) porch/deck areas. We had ages 6 to 73 and everyone had their space and comforts.
Great wifi, media, amenities.
But the winner was the view and the outdoor areas. The kids played for hours in the creek that ran through the property. Close to the "action" of Gatlinburg, but when you were sitting on the deck and overlooking the yard and stream, you could be a million miles away from the crowds.
And the customer service! Wow! Elk Springs gets 5 stars for their contact and follow up. We will be back."

"We enjoyed our stay at Creeksong very much and would probably stay there again. Some of the best aspects: The outside decks and porches were fabulous! There were lots of comfortable seats and outdoor tables. The outdoor fireplace was nice, and there was a fire pit outside on the ground. There was a pretty little walking path around the cabin with nice landscaping. The mattresses on all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had adequate dishes, cooking supplies. The creek was within steps of the back deck which made a delightful place for the children to splash safely with supervision. There was fishing in a river within a 5 minute drive. Bait and a little local information was available at the Greenbriar Store. There were a couple places in a 5 minute drive to order out food. There was a Dollar General in the area for basic groceries or essentials. We liked not being in the touristy hub of Gatlinburg, and the drive was not too bad.
Some areas needing improvement: There weren’t enough kitchen towels! With 9 people using a kitchen, the towels were always wet and nasty. We had to wash them every day. Providing 5-10 kitchen towels would be a cheap way to make guests more comfortable. Similarly, there weren’t adequate face/hand towels in the bathrooms. There was only one per bathroom. Some guests don’t want to share a face towel. Maybe one per guest would have been better. Lastly, the thermostat was regulated not to go below 70. I understand that the owners are probably trying to keep their electric bills down, but we slept too warm on several nights. We stay in vacation rentals 2-3 times a year and have never had the experience of a restricted thermostat before. The fishermen in our group were disappointed because the property description described the creek as a “deep trout” stream. It might be that if there’s been lots and lots of rain, but it was basically 2-12 inches deep - perfect for kids to play but not adequa"

"We decided to do something different other than Orlando for spring break this year. To our surprise, this cabin was so fun. we were all skeptical as we didnt know the area (we're from Florida) or what to expect. We all were so excited when we pulled into the isolated cabin, nice yard, private stream. there was just so much. my kids enjoyed smores in the fireplace, on the warm day (Thurs), it felt like home, nice weather so the kids and I stepped through the stream. There was an issue with the indoor fireplace that was immediately solved with a text. Maintenance came quickly. We loved it. I was a little worried when i saw the little crawl space upstairs i want to say was named Abigail corner or something like that. (maybe i watch too many ghost hunting shows). we can't wait to return, hopefully in the fall when we can really enjoy the outside more."

"IT was a beautiful property. The layout was excellent. Bathrooms were nice. That creek is everything! We enjoyed much time out by the creek. We used the woodburning fireplace on the outside porch, and had plans for the firepit the next night, but we had some rain that night.

Some things: Coming down the stairs from the second floor, I noticed that the nails holding the treading strips were starting to come up, and I was afraid of my young grands snagging a toe on them. That needs to be fixed immediately. Also, there are MANY MANY black bear decorations in that house. Most of them need a good cleaning. The paper towel holder by the kitchen sink was dirty enough to be unusable. The owners need to upgrade the silverware and some of the pots and pans. Also, the drinkware is lacking. It needs more kid friendly drinkware. I also would have liked some nice full sized unbreakable tumblers to use on the porches. One of the big fluorescent fixtures is out on the porch by the kitchen. The table lamp in the den needs a new light bulb. You need to supply a couple of extra pillows and a nice throw in each bedroom."

"I was so excited about spending my Birthday in a beautiful cabin with awesome amenities. The cabin is nice but the amenities that I paid extra for were not available to me.
Instead of offering me a different cabin I was told 5 minutes after arrival that the fireplace was not working. Obviously this was known well before my arrival but wasn't conveyed until the Elks Springs manager saw that I had entered the cabin.
This was just the beginning of my disappointment! The jacuzzi was 64 degrees and would not be available until the following day. I called the manager to no avail. I was not offered any help or assistance. We had stopped on our way to the cabin and purchased steaks and pork chops to cook on the grill. When we got ready to cook our meal we found that there was no gas in the grill. After another frustrating call someone did show up with a replacement tank. He acted like he was changing the tank and then did not change it. My husband made the guy aware that he saw that he wasn't switching out to the new tank, so he finally did. After he left we attempted to light the filthy grill only to find that it would not light. There wasn't enough gas getting to the igniter to light the grillor keep it lit.
After ruining beautiful steaks in the oven because the grill issues we decided to watch a movie in the theater room. Since we could not use the fireplace or jacuzzi. We then realize that the remotes do not work with the equipment!
I am a registered nurse I work long hours and was so excited to have a beautiful respite and birthday in the luxury cabin that I splurged for $300 per night and not have any of the amenities available to me that I paid for and was advertised.
I have attempted to get a call back from management to discuss the issues without success.. I did not mention that the cabin was not clean and ready by 3PM but we received a nasty text at discharge because we were 30 minutes late in checking out! Do Not Give These People You"

"This is our 3rd time staying at Creeksong. We love Creeksong and overall had a wonderful trip. Our family stayed for a week, celebrating Thanksgiving. The kids always love their own creek to play in and adults love the outdoor space. Some updates are needed to the cabin though, suggestions: bedding was old and well used, sheets and comforters had stains, mattresses were very uncomfortable, heating/cooling was a problem (very cold downstairs & very hot upstairs) made it problematic for those staying in the upstairs bedroom, shower leaked upstairs, towels were awful (very cheap & felt like sandpaper), shower heads had mold, outside area was full of leaves the day we arrived as seems no one cleaned outside, spider webs downstairs by ceiling under loft, dryer is old and took 120 minutes to dry a small batch of towels, only had 5 forks for the entire cabin, chair in master was filthy, porch lights were out however someone did come fix it. We love Creeksong but feel it does need an update. We like the new theater room upstairs but that it the most that has changed in 10 years. We hope if we decide to stay at Creeksong again these things will be updated!"

"The cabin was very nice. There was a lot of traffic on the road by the cabin. I guess it was my fault when I looked at pictures I didn’t see the road. I just assumed it was remote and secluded. Also my husband is handicapped and the ramp was good to get him in the house and outside porch. The bathroom was not suited for him. We went and bought handicap commode seat because it was way to low and the step up to get in shower we had to use a bathtub transfer seat because of the step up. Also the bed was a disaster for him. The mattress was so soft he was buried down in it and couldn’t get out of it without me pulling him up and down. So we didn’t get much rest. But it was a nice clean cabin and the creek was nice. Also we were suppose to check in at 3: 00 but they notified us we couldn’t get in till 3: 30. Would have like 11: 00 instead of 10;00 to check out it rushed us because it’s takes awhile to get up and started especially with a handicap person."

Each bedroom has its own bathroom. One bathroom has a jet tub. We all agreed that the pictures for this cabin did not do it justice. The game room was larger than we expected with 2 sofa beds. There is updated furniture on the back porch and outdoor fireplace area. There is an additional screened in, side porch area next to an outdoor gas grill and outdoor fire pit. The furniture out there was not pictured and was very comfortable! One road off from a main road but road noise was not an issue and the convenience was wonderful. Took us about 15 min to get into Gatlinburg and about 30 min to get into Pigeon Forge which was perfect as we were there more for the mountains and rivers but did explore both of those cities. "Don't be fooled by words and pictures. The actual experience is far different. They will nickel and dime you as much as they can, while providing as little as possible to make your stay enjoyable. When we arrived, the propane tank was empty, because it was turned ON AND SO WAS THE GRILL! We're lucky there was no explosion. We tried to get them to resolve it but good luck getting these people to help you once they have your money. There were constant leaks throughout the bathrooms, making it dangerous anytime we walked in. Again, nothing was done about it because we had fully paid for the trip so why help?

We will NEVER stay with Elk Springs. Unprofessional, unreliable. The only "luxury" part of their cabin is the price. I strongly encourage you stay anywhere else, there are SO MANY other options with similar cabins that are actually run by competent people."

In past years, we've stayed at cabins with another rental company and we were a little disappointed in this place. We spent the first night cleaning the surfaces and floors. The decorations are in desperate need of dusting. The ants in the kitchen are bad, we ended up pulling all the plates out of the cabinets and had to clean them and spray the Raid twice. The drawer in the island where the pots and pans are stored was a struggle, my mom would try to cook and she'd need help every time she would try to open or close it - - it's really heavy. "This cabin was the best! We had two families with a total of 5 kids (15, 12, 12, 7 & 5). All the kids loved playing in the creek, even the teenagers! There wasn't anything that this cabin didn't have! We used the propane grill almost every night and used the outdoor fireplace to roast marshmallows. Having equal bedrooms to bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get cleaned up. We enjoyed the pool table and toy area as well! The checkers table was nice, but unfortunately many of the pieces were missing. Wonderful cabin! We would definitely stay again!"

"The cabin is located far enough from town to be quiet and close enough to still be convenient. There were 6 adults and 4 kids and with the two sleepers upstairs we had room for everyone. The cabin was beautifully decorated and and we all enjoyed the creek very much. The only issue we had was with the stove one burner was either on high or off no adjustment and the handle to the oven came off lol I had to screw it back on, think it’s time for a new one. Other than that we’d recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to have a great family time !"

"Wow! I stayed with 3 other couples and had a blast. Very convenient to downtown, but far enough away to avoid EVERYTHING f you want! We used the fire ring one night then the outdoor fireplace the other 2 nights. This was great since it was raining. All beds were comfortable and convenient to their own bathrooms. We ate in for breakfast and a couple other meal. We had all we needed. The hot tub was awesome and the rocking chairs on the porch were great too. I personally enjoyed some quiet moments swinging by the creek and listening to the water.

Only one note- this cabin is between 2 back roads. There is a little bit of traffic but not too bad. Def would art here again. It kinda feels like you are on a little wooded island."

Firepit is great for roasting marshmallows. Kitchen has everything you would need to cook. We have had family from 83 to 1 years old. It's a blessing because it's also wheelchair, walker friendly. "Every single jaw was dropped when we walked into this beautiful cabin and were able to view it in its entirety! The thrill increased even more as we discovered how thoroughly the owner had provided child proofing amenities to ensure safety in every single area of the cabin. There was complete security and safety for our little ones. There were two downfalls that were minor inconveniences, but will not prevent us from returning 1) the master bathroom had a very strong smell of urine which was resolved by removing the rug around the toilet and cleaning the floor with clorox spray 2) the hot water pressure in the kitchen sink is extremely low which makes it difficult to rinse or hand wash dishes. This cabin is a bit distant from Gatlinburg, but it was an easy drive for the seclusion from the bustle that this cabin provided. Everything else about this cabin was perfect for us, and we will look forward to returning very soon."

Great spaces for enjoying time inside and outside; rockers, swings, fireplaces, game room - not to forget bedrooms, bathrooms, and eating space. This cabin is a few miles out of town but well worth it. Zip lining is just down the road, with trail riding not far. My whole family recommends a stop at Trisha’s Diner for breakfast or lunch! Oh- ramp for wheelchairs and a main level bedroom with accessible shower. Coffee in rocker on porches, toes in the creek, fireplaces in or out to soothe and the rippling song of water. Wonderful!"

"The location of the cabin is great. The outdoor space is incredible. However, the inside needs some attention. Furniture needs to be replaced, very worn and shabby. Overall cleanliness of cabin was very disappointing. There must be an issue with the HVAC unit as the master bedroom was freezing cold and the other rooms would get to hot if you turned up the heat to try and heat the master bedroom. Most of the dishes and silverware had to be washed before we could use them as there were bits of food stuck on them. The stove top and oven were filthy. That also had to be cleaned before using. The rental company said firewood would be provided and it was but it was still green so would not burn well. We only used the outdoor fireplace once. Windows look like they have not been cleaned since the home was built. The towels that were provided were so cheap and thin, they definitely should have been replaced. The slip guard on the front steps was peeling off. We were also excited there was a pool table in the loft, however it appeared a prior guest must have moved the table, it was very unstable and we had small children with us so we basically would not allow them near it because it did not seem safe. The adults played a few games but even the pool sticks were worn out. My overall opinion is that it was not worth the price tag. If it were priced less I could see some things not being top notch but we have stayed in much nicer and much cleaner places. I don't think the term Luxury should be used when describing this cabin on the rental site. The rental company was very nice when we booked and gave us some very useful recommendations on restaurants and nearest grocery store. We were so excited prior to arriving but have to admit we were disappointed once we got inside. The outdoor areas are definitely the best part of this cabin and the inside could be fabulous if it were cleaned up and some things replaced."

"The outdoor areas of this place are worth it by themselves. A large porch full of rocking chairs overlooking the creek. A totally screened in dining area on a different deck. A full fireplace with grill and table and chairs. And a hot tub area. All covered, all outdoors, and all connected. The deck space alone is the size of some cabins in the area.

Even though we spent most of our time outside, the inside was great, too. Very convenient that all the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and all have large beds. We had some kids their and the bedrooms are near soundproof. That was shocking compared to many of the cabins we've stayed in with paper thin walls.

Note: The TV in the main room and in the billiards room have been updated. We were a little concerned with the photos in the listing that they would still be 30 year old tube TVs, but they are modern flat panels.

One downside: They mention only having a starter supply of things like garbage bags and toilet paper. In our case, that start supply meant a single garbage bag in the kitchen. It wasn't worth calling the management but it seems like such a simple thing that they could do. Why provide such a great place and then skimp out on something so cheap as garbage bags?"

"The check in was so easy! Any questions I had about directions- I just sent a text- -and they answered me right back. We had lots of parking- enough for 3 cars. I loved how they had a ramp going into the house on the side. My mom had trouble with stairs- so this helped her easily get into house. The bedrooms were spaced out- everybody had their own space! The mattresses were a little hard in 3 of the bedrooms- but not enough to keep you from sleeping! The kitchen had everything we could ever need! Each bedroom had a private bathroom! " We used the outdoor gas grill one night. The hot tub was awesome! The fire pit by the screened in porch was nice also- they loved making s'mores! We loved the back porch- just spray for bugs! We could rock and hear the awesome creek- that ran behind the cabin! Wonderful toys for the children! I would highly recommend this cabin! I'm hoping to visit again next year! The cabin was perfect! We grilled out and played billiards in the evenings. The cabin was well equipped for every age. There were eight of us. (One to 58yrs. old) The toy room was fabulous for the little ones, the many sq. ft. of deck space allowed for quiet time. Every bedroom was furnished with a king sized bed! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, baskets and cooking pans to create a perfect homey dinner reunion. The creek was above all so peaceful and provided continuous natural beauty with a view from the deck. The communication from the agency was more than expected. "Drove 12 hours to meet kids and grandkids for a week.
The setting was beautiful. The cabin is spacious, but needs some tlc.
There were ants in the kitchen, the railing above the balcony was loose,
the recliner was broken and tipped over. The bedding is old and it over all needs a thorough cleaning. The master bath smells musty. I don't consider it "luxury". We left a night early and I am sure will not get any credit.
I was just ready to be home. Honestly... if it were cleaned up and old things replaced it would be amazing. We paid a hefty price for "tired".
The outdoor fire place was nice... I know it's hard to keep rentals nice because people are so inconsiderate, but I really did need clean.

"We selected Creeksong because the rental property's description said it was located on a trout stream with pictures of Webb Creek, which runs through the backyard. Unfortunately, there really aren't trout there, as the creek is too small. Good news is that the Greenbrier entrance to GSMNP is just a few miles down the road - with great fishing. The decorating was really well done, but everything was very dusty (we have allergies). Also, the fabrics (bed spreads, pillow covers, etc) smelled of perspiration, so we spent half our time cleaning and washing. The TV in the master bedroom must be at least 20 years old - and remote didn't work. A modern, flat screen TV would cost less than 1 night's rent. We returned home a day early - disappointed."

"We are close-knit group of co-workers who chose Creeksong because it appeared to be a quiet getaway where we could relax and simply enjoy each other's company. The property did not disappoint! We had a wonderful stay that was far too short! We liked the fact that the cabin was off the beaten path. The creek was beautiful, and it's rushing sounds were so restful! We found 138 of the "at least 140" hidden bears, and one member of our party even got to see the real thing walking at the edge of the creek on the property. Initially there was a problem with the wheelchaif ramp, as it ended about 3 inches in height shy of the ground. This was problematic for me since I require the use of a power wheelchair, but the management company was very responsive and had someone out to fix the ramp almost immediately upon our calling them. Creeksong is great for those who love the mountains, prefer to stay in a cabin, but require a wheelchair to get around, as truly accessible cabins are very difficult to find. The cabin itself was very accessible. The others accompanying me had to move some of the furniture slightly so I could get around in the living area, but this was not difficult. If you are spending the wekend with someone in a wheelchair, and no one in the group is able to move furniture over a few inches, just let the Elk Springs know how much space you requir to be able to maneuver through the living area, and I'm certain they will rearrange the furniture a little for your stay. Make sure to ask property management to have a shower chair placed in the handicapped accessible restroom before you arrive if you need seating to take a shower. I highly recommend Creeksong for your next stay if you are looking for relaxation away from the bustle!"

"We loved everything about Creeksong when we were there in 2015, but it wasn't the same this year (Sept. 2017).

I know we left a day early do to a family emergency and we understand that we are not able to secure a refund for our shorter stay and frankly would not expect one. But we did want to share with you some issues that we found in need of attention (at least from our perspective). This is a premium property, wonderful location, and certainly worth the fee structure, However...

It does not appear the windows facing the back (or any of them for that matter) which are always open have been washed since before the last time we stayed. Windows are the eyes from which you see the beauty of the surroundings...... They are beyond "dirty". Some of the dishes that were removed from the cabinets still had food residue on them, maybe the dishwasher needs a tune-up or the dishes should be inspected before returning them to the cabinet?

The floors in the kitchen were certainly "broom" clean but after wiping up a small spill (like 10 drops of juice) the paper towel was black were it made contact with the floor. The same could be said of the bathroom floors and the carpets actually show how dirty they are. There a very dark traffic spots leading into the bedrooms and multiple spills upstairs by the pool table. Pretty gross when you get right down to it....

Unfortunately it make your wonder about the bedding....

I am recommending a professional cleaning of all floor surfaces and the same with the windows. Huge cobwebs were hanging everywhere. It actually doesn't cost that much to purchases professional window cleaning gear that could be used on your other properties.... please remember, clean windows speak volumes about the rest of the property. UPS drivers wash their trucks EVERY night..... They have quite an image in the market place.... It is not by accident.
You may want to get a new cleaning crew for the p"
