Beach re-nourishment is now complete from West 2nd St beach access to the County Park! Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties.

The Waters Edge HOA does not allow any pets of any kind, including service dogs, emotional support animals or any other documented pet.

Welcome to 93 Waters Edge! This townhome is located in the Riverfront community of Waters Edge that is designed with a nod to Historic Charleston colors and charm. Guests can enjoy a little bit of everything, from a communal swimming pool and fishing pier, to a 10-minute walk (3 min golf cart ride) to the beach or take a 20 minute car ride to Historic Downtown Charleston.

This beautiful 3 bed/3 bath townhome accommodates 6 guests and features hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The kitchen is complete with lovely granite countertops, a custom backsplash, and is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials. The main area offers an open concept kitchen/dining and living room with plenty of seating and opens onto a screened in porch with river views. Located upstairs, the master suite housing a king-sized bed, includes a private Riverview deck with lounge chairs. Across the hall you will find a guestroom complete with a queen bed and the third queen bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen/living room area. Each of the 3 bedrooms have access to private bathrooms and include plenty of storage space.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Notes
During your stay you will enjoy the following amenities: complimentary Wi-Fi, AC/Heat, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker, ironing board, all linens & towels (except beach towels). Beach equipment is not provided, but if on the property you are welcome to use it, and an outdoor shower.
Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a Keyless entry system and a door code will be provided prior to your arrival date.
Parking is provided for 2 standard size vehicles (parking inside the garage).
The Community pool is open April-October (exact dates can vary depending on weather) and the fishing dock is open year round.
No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as "pets considered" and approved by our office.
This is a non-smoking property.
No grills, food trucks, or catering services that have to set up outside for service or preparation are permitted per HOA guidelines.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJ's, etc. are prohibited.
Check-in time: 4PM; Check-out time: 10AM.
Pool Hours: 10 am to 10 pm
50% Deposit required at the time of booking, the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to check-in.
You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property.

The HOA has created a mandatory quarterly Pest Control service schedule. Please note that if you a current guests during the service, you must allow them access to the property to avoid a fine from the HOA. If you are not at the property, we will have to give them access to complete the service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will do our best to give advance warning to all guests as the HOA alerts us of the service times or any changes.

NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does not listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

"We enjoyed our stay. The only things that need to be fixed are the king size bed it makes a loud creaking noise when you get in and out of bed. The shower head in the other guest room upstairs needed to be cleaned, the head has pink gunk over it. i would stay there again. The house is beautiful.

"The location of this venue is ideal. It is a short 2 block walk to the beach and a beach access. And a few block walk to the center of town. The unit is well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked. The only draw back was the king mattress in the main bedroom has seen better days. Could use an upgrade."

"While we enjoyed our stay, we found the condo to be more dated than most of the rentals we've used in the past. The paint and furniture were all rather dated and in need of freshening. The kitchen was not well appointed with most dishes mismatched and having chips. There were also very few drinking glasses and an array of silverware. We did think the property was very clean upon arrival. We would not recommend this rental to friends or family. Response from MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review. "There was definitely some dust behind doors and in corners. There were coffee grounds in the silver coffee pot, and hair in the basket where coffee would go when I went to make coffee the first morning. I ran both through the dishwasher. Over all pretty clean. I think we were in the home during a transition, as there were no towel racks in any of the bathrooms. We had to hang towels in the closets or over the curtain rod in the shower to dry. MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review and feedback, it is much appreciated! Yes, you are correct, this property is in transition and we are not actually managing it as of yet, just aiding in the transition process. "Despite the hiccup with construction going on at the townhouse and how to get in upon with arrival, it was a great stay. The property managers were extremely responsive, informative, and respectful to our needs and questions. The location was awesome and space was in good condition. The kitchenware (pots and pans) could use some updating (rusty and not all were clean in cabinets), but all in all a comfortable space for our quick trip."

"The property was nice and relaxing. Location on Folly was good. Communication was great and the property was just as described. Only constructive criticism in an effort to always improve, replacement of the creaky bed in the main bedroom would be a good choice, but keep it a king. Bed exits at night wake up others. Also, the main bed bathroom blinds look see thru to the next door unit. The area was safe and could be walked without any concern. The island was very chill and I look forward to returning."

"Very nice property, beds are on the uncomfortable side. Beautiful views and location is just right. We stayed durning the month of February, with cooler outside temperatures and it was very difficult to find a setting on the heat the where you would not cook durning the evening upstairs and still freeze downstairs. If you are driving a larger suv or truck like we did be prepared because you have to park inside the garage which is just big enough to get inside of but is very tight. Or you will have to park up the road with a parking pass."

"Perfect property! Our teenage son and daughter were both able to have their own bedroom/bathroom and we felt at ease letting them walk the short distance to the shops and restaurants or the beach by themselves. We found several sharks teeth at low tide and the pier (which we expected to be closed for construction) was open to the public. The house had everything we needed and more, the beds were super comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful!"

"For our first trip to Folly Beach, this was so perfect. With the noise ordinance and no intention to throw any parties, having a relaxing time was easy. Communication with property management was great, property expectations are crystal clear and perfectly reasonable. Everything was exactly as expected. We walked everywhere we went except for the beach simply for having gear to carry. Otherwise, the walk would have been no trouble at all. I would only suggest to management or owners, extra blankets for those who would use them, more than a couple of rolls of better toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags, pump hand soap next to kitchen and bathroom sinks and a counter top cleaning product. Cooking was easy with adequate tools and pans. I would stay here again without hesitation. Grab your groceries beforehand at any of the options along Folly Rd (Harris Teeter or Walmart) rather than close to the airport. Bring your own beach towels and expect the dryer to take two cycles to dry everything fully. It was still, without a doubt, a great rental."
