"His place was great! Super close to the North Shore marina, I was able to get my boat in the harbor that is right up the street! The fishing was great!"

"We had a great time staying at the cabin. We were so close to hiking trails and off-roading access. We even had a faster exit off the mountain than in other neighborhoods which was an advantage for us to get to our next destination. We love Big Bear!"

"Perfect little couples' weekend in a cute cozy place, we even used the fireplace. The kitchen was so cute and the appliances are that vintage look. We want to come back soon!"

"We loved staying here for my best friend's birthday. We saved time and money with a great local eatery right up the road. We walked just a few blocks and met the lake. What a great find! Happy Birthday Monica!"

"I enjoyed my stay a lot and the Big Bear Rental staff I spoke with were very nice, but I never got replies from my any of the texts I sent regarding checkins or from the calls I left regarding guidelines fro checking out. Other than that I had a great stay."

"We loved our stay! The cabin was exactly as described. Very rustic, but we loved the quiet location and especially the fact that the forest was right outside the back door! Big Bear vacations was quick to respond to our needs. I would definitely stay both with Big Bear Vacations again and at this cabin. Tips for this cabin: Make sure to bring paper towels, a lighter, and if you’re going to cook, a sharp knife. It was so helpful to have a ceiling heater in the bathroom—it dried off our wet snow clothes really quickly. Also, there are plenty of extra space heaters (in addition to the central heating), and the tv is new and WiFi worked great."

"The property itself was old but okay. Although the young man at the counter put the pen I used back in the "sanitized pens" cup, the bathroom towel bar and shower curtain w/ rod were on the floor, weeks worth of dead flies in the window sills, no wifi back door not unlockable for deck access and a dead moth in the coffee maker, we came prepared. All we needed was quiet and nature. What we got was a knock on the door first thing in the morning from a city worker asking us to move our car from the driveway so they can dig up the street and lay pipes in the ground in front of the cabin..The noise was loud and would last all day every day we planed on being there. We couldn't stay and lost the short down time we needed so badly. The management tried very hard to find us a replacement cabin but none would give us the quiet and privacy we needed. My biggest issue is somebody was notified about the construction and chose to do nothing! that cabin never should have been rented for those days. The quietest part of our visit was the three hour drive there and the drive back."

"This cabin has no WIFI, the TV is a very old/small, the comforters did not seem clean and the shower curtain was so dirty, I almost threw up when I started taking a shower, the smell was so disgusting! Big Bear Vacations rentals were great about changing the curtain right away and offered us to move to a different place. I would definitely rent from Big Bear Vacations, but I would NOT recommend this place."

"Cozy, comfortable and serene. Kitchen is fully equipped, so feel free to bring your food, and cook away. Saves time from going out and money. Or bring ready made food, some wine and enjoy your evening. There's a bbq grill, deck for sitting around and enjoy the outdoors or to relax and read a good book. Theres also a sitting area behind the cabin which backs up to the woods. Easy to go for a walk and enjoy nature or sit and enjoy some quiet time, bbq or catch some sunshine early in the morning. Carpet through out the cabin makes it comfy for kids to play and walk around & not have to worry about cold floors. Fireplace is great, we made smores! Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. Minutes to Vons and Stater Bros markets, camping sites, the lake, hiking trails, and much more! Great place to get away from the city, we stay here every other year. Highly recommend you stay, and find out for yourself! !"
