This charming, eclectic hilltop cabin is truly one-of-a-kind. Built with warm caramel pine wood, decorated with plush antique furniture and surrounded by stunning mountain views, this home is the perfect place for a Rocky Mountain adventure. Built in the early 1900s, this quirky yet enchanting cabin has been added onto over the years and is now a wandering collection of winsome rooms that will delight every guest.

The former owner, Mr. Daley, was of Austrian descent and a consummate world traveler. His mother, Nona, would sneak to the Austrian mountainside to pick Edelweiss and it is for her family legend that this cabin is named. The home is still stocked with Mr. Daley's books, memorabilia and travel guides. His world map in the corner of the great room boasts of the many places he visited. This is all part of the charm of Edelweiss Mountain Haus, where guests will truly feel at home.

The spacious great room boasts exposed log wall that is part of the original cabin that makes up the bones of Edelweiss. The many mullioned windows provide both ample light and stellar views of the surrounding mountains. Multiple comfy sofas and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves surround a large stone fireplace, and a large oak table with seating for eight offers a great spot for dinners and conversation.

The living area leads into the kitchen, well-stocked with full-size appliances and well-lit with skylights. Just outside is the deck with a gas grill and outdoor furniture for summer relaxation and dining.

The first floor features two queen bedrooms, a completely remodeled full and half bath, and an easily accessible laundry area just off of the kitchen.

Head up the stairs to the loft bedroom, which features a cozy full bath, kitchenette with a microwave and mini-fridge, a small table for two and a full-size bed. A door opens to a roomy deck with million-dollar views of Lumpy Ridge.

The home offers Trailblazer fiber optic internet. There is a TV in the main floor living room, and one of the main floor bedrooms. The TVs have an HDMI cord for streaming.

Located minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and an easy walk away from downtown Estes Park, Edelweiss is the perfect spot for a charming, enchanted Rocky Mountain getaway. Book yours today!

"The rental was excellent. It offered a home like experience for my wife and 4 daughters. It was close to downtown within walking distance. The only flaw was we noticed a couple roaches under the living room couch on our last day. The elk would come 20 feet from our back deck."

"Our second stay at this location. Great base for a week of backcountry skiing. Cozy and super clean! Walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Plenty of space for our group. Super easy check in and out...and a REAL fireplace!"

"The Edelweiss Mountain Haus was a wonderful home base for three days of backcountry skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park. The space is super clean, centrally located, and spacious...more than enough room to spread out for our group of four adults. The home is cozy...and we especially appreciated the wood burning fireplace. Oh...and the shower is pretty amazing too. We will definitely stay here again!"
