Description

Welcome to Creeksong Cabin!

Perched on over three acres nestled along the banks of a creek, this secluded escape boasts rustic charm and modern amenities for the perfect getaway to North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. Immerse yourself in the natural soundscape of the rippling creek and bird calls while enjoying the quiet intimacy of morning coffee on the front porch. A two-tiered deck and separate patio area promise hours of family gathering and entertainment, with plenty of patio seating including an outdoor dining table and firepit. The main floor living area features an open kitchen and living room layout. The kitchen is equipped with full-size appliances, including a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Plush, leather furniture and a wood stove are centered around a wall-mounted flatscreen TV.

On the main level is a full bathroom with a new private shower (not yet shown in photos) and a bedroom with queen bed, sofa, and TV. In the hallway is a half bath with toilet and sink for guests. Upstairs is a full bathroom with a shower and a bedroom to each wing. On the left is a queen bed with TV and a Juliette balcony. On the right is a bedroom with two twin beds and a TV.

The lower level holds the laundry center with a shower and sink. There is also a small game room with foosball!

Off the living room, a fantastic Carolina sunroom offers cozy comfort in any season - catch the winter rays and warm up after a long day of skiing and hiking or spend summer mornings, listening to the creek and waterfall. To the right is the open, large deck. To the left, steps down to the metal fire pit with chairs. A large clearing off the bend in the driveway features a natural stone firepit. Across the road on the owner's property are newly built steps leading down to the creek.
When you want to explore, there's no shortage of things to do, see, and experience. Enjoy easy access to downtown Banner Elk and some of the best hiking in the area, including Elk River Falls. Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster is a family favorite. Boone and Blowing Rock are an easy day trip away.

"We had a really nice time on this getaway. The house was very charming and loved the sunroom for morning coffee. The stream across the road has a fire pit and bench swing which was so relaxing. The pictures that are posted are exactly what the property and house look like. Look forward to staying again in the future."

"Loved it, What a great place to stay. Very relaxing. Would recommend highly. The driveway is a little treaky. I would recommend go past the driveway, turn around. It was much easier. Other then that it was great."

"The property was not ready when we arrived despite having been sent a message that it was ready. Upon arrival property was full of smoke smell even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking property. property was a filthy mess, not cleaned properly lipstick on pillowcase, hair in bedsheets. it was clear the sheets were not changed, we were told by management company they would make arrangements to compensate after we called and voiced our concerns and asked to be transferred to another unit. and they did nothing. There is a shower in one of the bedrooms and the smell of sewage was so bad we had to plug the drain in order to stay in that room. Property is on a septic system, and clearly needs to be emptied. this was by far the absolute worst stay we’ve had. The only thing that saved our trip was the fact of the beautiful surroundings at outlying areas."

"We loved our getaway at Creeksong Cabin! It's a great location - a close drive to many different places, yet we felt away from it all once home at the cabin. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Our daughter enjoyed the hammock by the stream and we all liked hanging out in the sun room. Communication with hosts was timely and helpful. Loved our stay!"

"Amazingly clean! The property staff did a excellent job preparing the house for our visit and check in was very simple. The pictures don't do it justice and the view of the creek from the deck and patio is great. As everyone else has mentioned the driveway could be a concern in winter for some people. Overall 5 stars and will stay again."

"This place was AMAZING! Me and friends are from the city and we decided to go up to the mountains for the weekend and I tell you what WORTH every penny. The house was cozy and cabin like feels. There’s a cool creek on the other side of the road with a hammock that you can chill on an etc. Now I do RECOMMENDED you having a truck or any sort of 4x4 car cause the house is on a Mountain side and the drive way is VERY VERY STEEP! Not much room to work with but it’s do-able. Other than that if you wanna get away from civilization and enjoy nature this is your place! Thank you sm again blue ridge! We'll definitely be coming back."

"The cabin was in a great location and very comfortable. We were able to enjoy a wonderful snow and stayed warm with the wood stove. We would not have accessed the cabin in the snow without a four wheel drive."

"Property was clean and stocked as listed. Quiet area with nice scenery, very picturesque. It took a bit to figure out the process for heating but by day 2 we had it figured out (run basement heater to heat the whole house). Entertainment devices were abundant. Kitchen well equipped. 2 fire pits available but as we had snow and subzero temperatures we weren’t able to take advantage. We were warned about the steep driveway and that was not an exaggeration. But with a 4WD and being a gravel driveway it was not a problem. Not a complaint per se but biggest drawback was proximity to activities in town. We wanted seclusion and got that, but later found ourselves wanting to be closer to shopping and restaurants, even if only 5 or 10 minutes away as we were. But not a big deal. Only other matter was the layout of master bedroom. We would have preferred a smaller bed to avoid having to crawl around to get to both sides. And there’s no shower on main level with the master. However these were minor issues that didn’t detract from our Christmas holiday weekend. We had a great time and would definitely recommend."

"My husband and I, along with our pup, spent a couple of days there. We all had a great time! Very clean and decent cookware (which isn't always the case with rentals) Bonus - the glassed in sunporch just off the living area was such a pleasure. I will say that the 'warning' about the driveway is accurate. We made it in a front wheel drive but wouldn't recommend trying so in inclement weather. Need a 4WD - Altogether a great place!"
