Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.

Free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and ski rental shop (with discounts) .

All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

"The property was very close quick 5 minute drive to the slopes. If you want to fully utilize their free shuttle only go during peak season otherwise utilizing the shuttle with take time away from your full ski day as the shuttle runs 30 minutes after lifts are open and 30 minutes before the lifts close."

"It was fair. The house was dirty. Rat traps in the kitchen. Dead bugs in bathrooms. Moths at night. We had to call for plates, bowls, and towels as there were not enough for 10. The management brought a few towels but nothing else. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken and the tile was very dirty. It wasn't clean and was very dated."

"We had a bit of difficulty checking in, but as soon as I called the phone number for help, I was sent an email with all the information needed.
The autumn colors were splendid! Even without this, the home is so inviting that it could have been a blizzard outside and we still would have enjoyed it. At the resort, my kids LOVED the gameroom with a pool table and pinball machines. They also enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool. We spent time in Durango Ziplining and then at Bears Ranch (just a 8 miles away from Cascade Village) horseback riding."

"Arrival instructions were a tad confusing, but once we were there it made sense. The layout was perfect. Main living area with bathroom and bedroom for grandparents on the main floor. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a loft upstairs for the kids. Plenty of room for us all to hangout together, but escape if needed. Location is quiet and views are beautiful. 35 minutes from Durango, but a great little store 4 miles away for necessities. Pool closes at 9: 00. We would have liked to see it open til at least 10: 00. Restaurant was pretty pricey, but food was excellent. Had a maintenance issue that was not addressed while we were there. Communication was good about their attempts to get someone in to look at it, just not able to get to it before we left. Dryer is vented inside so makes for a warmer condo doing laundry in the summer. Great little balcony, just know you need chairs to relax out on it. Loved watching the hummingbirds!"

"Downstairs and upstairs maters were ok, twin beds in third BR were old and in poor shape. We had a lamp in third BR that had a short would trip the breaker when plugged in. Shuttle bus only runs to the resort twice a day 8: 40 and 3: 40. Need 4WD car to get up the hill when snow on the ground. Kitchen was good enough. Wall sockets were all loose upstairs when plugging in items like phone charges and hair dryers they drooped and came out too easily."

"This townhouse did not disappoint. From the covered parking to the fire starters, it was great. Only 2 points less than great. 1. We could not find extra bedding for the pull out couch or the pull out trundle. 2. The breaker for the upstairs blew several times, which was no big deal once we found the breaker box, which luckily was in a downstairs closet. The pool and hot tub were terrific for the kids to get out wiggles after a long drive. The location is pretty, very close to Purgatory, and 30min from town. Plenty of the items needed to make a stay comfy."

"The location was great! Construction blocked entry to building and the noise and dust were a little bothersome. A note left by the cleaning staff said that one bed was broken and unusable. The townhouse felt a little crowded, even with only 4 people - a lot of furniture! But a great place to sleep and the bathrooms were great as were the nearby hiking trails."

"This is a very nice, big, well maintained and clean place. We could tell there are some years on the history of this house, but despite used, everything in there (furniture, appliances, etc) was very clean and in good/excellent condition to use. Cleaning fee was the most expensive we ́ve ever paid (around $250 including Covid fee), but the place is big and every corner was very clean.
We were just 2 people, but all the bedrooms/bathrooms were very clean, beds made, etc. The location is beautiful and secluded, but be ready to drive at least 30min to get to the nearest city (Durango). The group that takes care of the property is very professional, fast and we totally recommend them and this property.

"LOved this condo and the kitchen was particualry well stocked. Lots of firewood to burn and very close to the Ski area. There is van that can take you if you do not want to drive each day, and a ski rental store on sight making this a very convenient place to stay. Hot tubs outside and pool were also clean and excellent condition. Only down side was that the internet really doesn't work here so that was a bit of a problem."

"This lovely condo in the Cascades development has a spectacular view of the mountains and sits midway between Durango and Silverton. The three bedroom unit includes an upstairs lounging loft with a tv and 2 bedrooms and a downstairs master bedroom. The unit has 3 bathrooms. The balcony overlooking the mountains is small and could use a couple of chairs outside, but the views are really amazing. The unit could use a little tlc, but it is well worth the money. Both Keith and the personnel at Cascades were responsive to all our questions and concerns. The community has a couple of hot tubs, an indoor swimming pool and a gym. We loved the place."

"My family and I enjoyed our days at the Cascade Village condo near Purgatory. The pros were proximity to the slopes, a great ski rental place right in the complex (and with super nice people working there and so accommodating!), a well-stocked kitchen with many things like a griddle, enough dishes for us all, a big dining table, firewood right by our door. The cons were the wifi was really slow and there wasn't quite enough space for all of us to sit together comfortably in the living room. But we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to others."

"The condo was clean and nice and fitted our needs for what we wanted...I t was really nice to walk out the door and have a small snow covered bank for the littlest grandchildren to sled down..convenience was a bit far from town. The reservation process was quick, however the first time the page did not come through on how to get into the condo and that was a little confusing but rectified very quickly.... the only disappointment was when we went to the pool and hot was closed due to repairs.... would like to have had that information ahead of time so maybe would have looked elsewhere...overall a pleasant and fun stay.."

"This condo fit our group very well with 9 total - 5 children and 4 adults. We rented ski equip at Cascade Village and had a great experience there as well! The condo was clean and although a little dated, it was really nice and exactly what you would expect from the description. The snow wasn't great during our visit, but we had a great time anyway. Upstairs bedroom has a really nice shower and fold out bed was comfortable for what it was (no complaints from kids!). Also, the condo was very well stocked with everything you can imagine - even a griddle that was used every morning for pancakes. Great views and we found some areas outside for the kids to play in the snow. Overall great experience!"
