Robin's Crest is an upscale, chic mountain cottage with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) full bathrooms, a board-and-batten wood exterior with loads of custom stonework, and a paved, level driveway providing easy access and parking. Nestled in the coveted Blue Ridge Mountain Club, guests can access the unique amenities the club offers owners and their guests!

Find out more about the Blue Ridge Mtn Club amenities by clicking this link. They include:
- Chetola Sporting Reserve is a private club offering fly fishing, numerous sporting clay target stations, shotgun/rifle/pistol ranges, an archery range, and more on 67 acres within the Blue Ridge Mtn Club. Certified fishing guides and NRA-certified shooting instructors lead all the activities. Contact the club for more information, pricing, and reservations.
- Ascent Fitness Center is a fitness and wellness center with state-of-the-art workout equipment and cardio machines, yoga and fitness classrooms, showers, and changing rooms, all overlooking stunning mountaintop views! Located in the Watson Gap Village at BRMC, there is a small per-day fee, and guests can only use the facility during staffed hours. Contact the fitness center for staffed hours and per-day rates.
- Lookout Grill is a restaurant and indoor/outdoor bar serving lunch and dinner seasonally. It is family-friendly and located in the Watson Gap Village at BRMC. Contact the Lookout Grill for hours and availability and to make a reservation.
- Watson Gap Village also offers the Jasper House. It provides a spacious, banquet-style gathering room with a large-screen HDTV, a large fireplace, comfortable lounging furniture, and a seasonal indoor/outdoor feel. There are numerous fire features in the covered courtyard and the open-air grounds. The Jasper house also has stunning long-range views and all sorts of nooks and crannies to gather and relax in.
- Watson Gap Pavilion is just a hop, skip, and jump from the Village. It offers a fun outdoor venue for family picnics and parties, BBQs and cookouts, casual impromptu get-togethers, and planned, reserved special events. The centerpiece of the Pavilion is a covered stone area with two fireplaces, restrooms, cooking and serving stations, and more!
- Fun for all, the Blue Ridge Mountain Club has miles of hiking, biking, walking, and UTV trails. There are miles of rivers, creeks, and streams with small waterfalls, swimming holes, and many overlooks where you can stop and enjoy the stunning views. When you reserve Robin's Crest, you get much more than just the wonderful house!

The main level of the house is open-concept. Hardwood floors, oversized glass doors and windows, and vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceilings with exposed beams enclose the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The kitchen features stainless appliances, a gas cooktop, granite countertops, a stainless undermount sink, and custom Shaker-style cabinets. The kitchen island provides dining space for four (4), and the adjacent dining table seats eight (8). Accommodate up to twelve (12) guests inside and another eight (8) on the covered outdoor deck. The great room has a stacked-stone gas fireplace, leather furniture, and an HD Smart TV.

The master bedroom is on the main level and has direct access to the full bathroom that services the living area. The bathroom has a double sink granite vanity and a large tiled shower with a frameless glass door. The bedroom features a king-size bed, an HD Smart TV, and windows offering mountain views. Vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceilings and exposed beams add charm and character to the main-level master bedroom.

Downstairs, you will find a laundry closet with a washer and dryer and a full bathroom with a double sink granite vanity and tub/shower combo. At the foot of the stairs is the comfortably furnished den, featuring a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping options. A built-in bunk nook tucked away under the stairs has a twin-over-twin bunk bed. There is a large wall-mounted HD Smart TV and glass doors with mountain views leading to a wood platform that accommodates the new hot tub.

There are two additional bedrooms downstairs with excellent views of the Blue Ridge. One bedroom offers a king-size bed and an HD Smart TV, while the other offers two (2) twin beds. Both of these bedrooms have ceiling fans, dressers, and large closets.

The main level features a large covered deck with outdoor dining and living space, a square dining table for eight (8), and a stainless gas grill. "We loved the neighborhood and the cabin. The views were great. It was a long drive to get into town (about 30 - 40 mins) but we didn't mind. The only real issue was the blinds. Some rooms they were just missing and other rooms if you opened the blinds they would get stuck open. Also in previous cabins we have stayed in there have been binders with restaurant suggestions and drive times as well as a simple list of the household items that have been provided. This would have been a helpful option. We needed to buy everything from garbage bags to a sponge. We obviously don't mind buying these items, but it would have been helpful to know what was being provided and what wasn't."

"Absolutely beautiful house! We really enjoyed the layout, the outdoor space and the amenities of the neighborhood. There were a few things we noticed about the property that probably need to be looked at: - The indoor fireplace wouldn't light - The front left burner of the stove is faulty (has trouble lighting and, when lit, burns differently than the other burners. - Some of the bathroom fixtures in the downstairs bathroom need repair (the towel rack and toilet paper holder, and shower handle specifically) - Would also recommend additional cups/glasses/plates. - The trash storage room outside was not cleared out when we arrived, so there was no room in the outdoor trash cans and the room itself was pretty full."

"The Robin's Crest cabin was great for a long weekend getaway. The views were unbelievable and the cabin was a great blend of a cabin with more modern updates and conveniences. Additionally, the neighborhood had many amenities that offered a variety of things to do. The neighborhood also did a great job in plowing the roads consistently to ensure everyone's safety. I would highly recommend the cabin for anyone with a group of 4-8 people."

"We enjoyed our stay at Robins Crest and found the home well appointed. We did have difficulty finding it so be sure to follow turn by turn directions provided from the rental company from Boone or Blowing Rock and do not rely on GPS. The rental company stressed this but we used GPS for the first part of the trip and didn't switch over. Boone and Blowing Rock are only 6-8 miles away but it takes 34 minutes from the home. So be sure to have any items you need from the grocery store! We forgot sweetener. We loved the gas logs and the views and the beds were comfortable. Each bathroom needed some towel racks. It would have been helpful to have an owners notebook for instructions for tv, trash, hot tub, microwave and other helpful tips. Wish we could have used the porch, but it was too cold. A great home and a great getaway! Thanks for the initial set ups of shampoo, dishwashing liquid, soap and dishwasher tabs, paper towels and toilet paper. We had one issue with starting the hot tub with no directions provided and Carolina Cabins were able to help us with a phone call!"

"Your home was beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend having someone clean the outdoor grill on a regular basis. We used it and had to spend a considerable amount of time cleaning the cooking surface. This could lead to a fire so I do recommend cleaning it soon. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for having us!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Robins Crest! The home itself is very clean and has an open floor plan with a wonderful long-range mountain view. It was nice to watch the sunrise each morning from the main living area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and grilling a couple of our dinners. The house is well appointed, but you need to read the directions so you understand what is provided and what is not so you can bring anything extra you will need. We also love the Blue Ridge Mountain Club neighborhood and the available hiking trails. The Nick-a-Jack trail is close by at Watson Gap and provides a good introductory hike. You can also take the Blue Hole trail from there, but be aware it's very steep. If you have a 4WD vehicle, then another option for seeing the Blue Hole is to drive down the Laurel Creek Connector trail (entry is from Goldenrod Rd) to the Laurel Creek campground and then follow the Laurel Creek trail about 0.5 miles to the Blue Hole. Another good hike is the West Ridge Trail from Watson Gap Village to Five Points (but save energy on the way down for the hike back up!). A couple of recommendations for improvement (none of these were major issues, just sharing in the spirit of constructive criticism)... More hand towels are needed in the bathrooms. The knives are very dull, as is the vegetable peeler. Also, it would be good to have some directions about trash disposal -- I only found the trash cans thanks to reading a prior review. Finally, although the pest control service came during our stay, we still had issues with yellow jackets and wasps from time to time on the porch. There seem to be some nests at the house that should be removed."

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The views were wonderful, the place was very clean and comfy. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace daily (the outdoor fireplace was not working during our stay). Although we didn't get to take part in any of the activities available within the community, we grilled out and enjoyed the view on the deck. Washer and Dryer were available for use which came in handy. The hot tub was clean and relaxing (loved the jets, music, and lights). It's a very spacious home. We look forward to being able to come back and can't wait to visit again!"

"We loved our stay at Robin's Crest! Space was perfect for three middle aged women looking to enjoy a short getaway. I have no negative comments, but have some recommendations for improvement. The bathrooms are perfectly functional and well decorated but could include additional hooks or hangers for towels. Directions got us there but it was a little hard arriving at night. The directions to the cabin could have been more clear, referencing distance past "Yadkin's Point" rather than referencing cabin color (can't see in dark) and proximity to sharp curve (of which there are MANY). More info about the amenities offered by the blue ridge mountain club could have helped us plan better. We definitely enjoyed the club, but later than we might have had we understood more. Lastly, the outdoor fireplace was an awesome amenity. However, similar to other reviews, we had trouble with the pilot light. The maintenance team was very responsive and corrected right away. But after one night of use, pilot light was out again. We chose not to call for maintenance since it was our last night. Overall, we very much enjoyed the property and our stay! The office was extremely responsive and provided excellent customer service."

"First of all I am not sure if my first review was sent but we really enjoyed our stay at Robin's crest. The house was very much like it was pictured and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us to spread out, sleep and relax. The gas fire places were a big hit and we enjoyed a dip in the hot tub as well. The kitchen was very large and allowed everyone to participate in meals and conversation. We were a little surprised at the lack of kitchen supplies and utensils as well as the minimal plates etc. Also there were no kitchen towels, one small sponge and only 2 dishwasher paks. Due to the lack of dishes we ended up using these and having to handwash the last dishes from breakfast before we left. if this had been noted as things to bring that would have been OK too. Also lacking trash bags. Only the ones in the can were available. There was a sign in the bathrooms to use the darker towels for make-up removal. None were provided so this was confusing. There were makeup removal packs in their so maybe this is an old sign? The master bedroom was lovely but we were surprised that the bath was also the bathroom for the main floor of the house not a private master bath. We had a small issue with the pilot light on the outside fireplace. We put in a call and it was quickly answered and resolved over the phone. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each evening. The staff we did encounter at the club were all very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back. Also some instructions printed for what needed to be done at the end of the reservation would have been helpful as well. We did get an email with some instructions but nothing about linens and beds or if we needed to change temperature etc."

The gated community it's in, Blue Ridge Mountain Club, is gorgeous, friendly, and an outdoor sportsman's paradise, with miles and miles of hiking trails with scenic streams and waterfalls and fun UTV trails. "Easy reservation, check in and out. We didn't want to leave. I have nothing negative to say about my entire experience. From the spectacular customer service received from Carolina cabin rentals and the beautiful home we had an amazing time. The house is over the top gorgeous, and the views through out the BRMC resort are amazing! Upon entering the gates, the friendly staff are kind, considerate, and accommodating, you know you are somewhere special. So much space to enjoy, the home is tastefully decorated inside and out. Every amenity you could imagine was included from the beautiful kitchen, living area with gorgeous views, cozy bedrooms, and lovely outdoor covered deck with fireplace. We have had an amazing July 4th week filled with laughter, love, joy, and sweet memories with family. Thank you to the owners for allowing others to enjoy your beautiful home."

The beds were comfortable. The Blue Ridge Mountain Club seems to have great amenities. We didn't get to use many of them but maybe next time. The only suggestion I have is to add towel racks or hooks in the bathrooms."
