"Perfect for a family. We really enjoyed our stay. It has easy access by vehicle. We loved the curvy ride in and out. The deer are plentiful. I would stay again."

"Benzine farm was wonderful overall. We particularly enjoyed the deer frequented the property. It would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature indoors. It was stuffy and we were not able to make it cooler as there was no apparent way to adjust the temperature and I looked everywhere. We also loved sitting on the deck at night. I wish the street light lantern at the driveway could be turned off. If you want to sit in the dark you cannot."

"We booked this cabin last minute and everything from booking to leaving the cabin was a seamless experience. We were greeted by about 7 deers on arrival, very neat! The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty blankets for everyone and perfect home away from home for a couple nights. I loved the binder in the living room of things to do, places to eat, etc! I didn't know what the vent/heat/exhaust buttons/apparatus was in the downstairs bathroom, so I didn't mess with it but it didn't affect my stay so it was not a problem. My kids loved staying in our “first cabin” and it totally made the stay extra special as we were also celebrating a birthday. We utilized the fire pit for s'mores, it was a little difficult starting it as a first timer but it eventually caught on and we had the perfect night hanging out. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to book and we would definitely utilize again if we comeback here! Great experience!"

"We stayed on the Valentine's Day weekend 2021. Even though the weather was rainy and no snow on the ground the cabin was very comfortable and we were still able to enjoy our stay. We were two families with pre teens and we found the cabin clean and suitable for our needs. The kids loved the loft and the kitchen had everything one would need for light cooking. We appreciated the information the cabin has about the attractions and activities available in the area. Definitely will be back."

"Very nice and very clean! Had everything we needed for our stay. Location to the ski resort was less than 2 miles. LOTS of deer to view at any time of the day. I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if staying in the winter months. Overall a very pleasant and peaceful stay. We will be coming back to this cabin!"

"We had a pleasant and relaxing trip enjoying the comforts of Benzine Farm. The size of the cabin was perfect for our group because everyone could hang out together at the fire pit, on the deck, or in the living room - but then separate for sleeping or quiet time in the space provided by the three levels of the cabin. We counted 59 bear-themed decorations, and hope the number will have reached 60 when we book again!"

"Overall, Benzine was a nice place to stay and I think the value/cost was excellent. Some items, like blender and iron need updating but the place fit our 3 night stay just fine. We were lucky enough to see lots of deer and a family of bears.
MGT The owner has replaced both the blender and iron.

"I cannot begin to explain how much my family and I enjoyed our stay here! It is a beautiful place to relax and spend time with loved ones. It was more than enough space for our 6 adult group. We were able to cook full meals, have our own bathrooms, enjoy a nice fire with and a beautiful view. There were so many deer, we loved it. They would come right up to the steps. Just an all around good time. Thank you all so much. P. S. Thank you to our housekeeper for being so kind and understanding!"

"My friends and I stayed in the Benzine cabin for the weekend so we could ski at Beech mountain! The cabin was only 2 miles up the road from Beech mountain which made skiing super easy. The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The cabin was exactly how it was described online and I would highly recommend the property to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our first morning we woke up and it was snowing. Our daughters had never seen snow. The white tailed deer came to visit us every day and were so comfortable around people. Location was close to everything on Beech. FWD suv and we never got stuck on any roads even while snowing. They take good care of the roads on beech mountain. At the cabin we made s'mores at the firepit, used the fireplace frequently. We had the full mountain experience! It was so beautiful. hopefully we will visit again soon!"

"Nice little cozy place in the woods. We loved the surroundings and very close to different waterfalls and Blowing Rock. The place was little smaller than expected but 6 people can be housed without any problem. Some of the beds were squeaky especially the queen size bed in one of the rooms. The kitchen is quite small. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

MGT - The owner has installed new box springs in the bedrooms replacing the squeaky ones. So, all beds are comfy and quiet. "

"We had the best time at this cabin! We enjoyed spending quality family time and relaxing by the fire! We also enjoyed watching the deer and getting up close and personal! The house had a great set up. We had 8 people in the house and it never seemed crowded. We had a lot of family fun with the horseshoe pit and bean bag toss! We plan to come back for a visit!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Benzine Farm. The cabin itself was delightful and the amenities were very comfortable for 6 individuals. We had all we needed for a great stay. There were challenging walking trails nearby that took us past gorgeous scenery, and lots of deer visiting the property. We especially enjoyed the fire pit outside, and made s'mores nightly. Maintenance was very helpful when we had a battery needing changing on the front door lock. We will use Carolina Cabin Rentals again for sure."

"Home was well maintained and comfortable. Close to the slopes and great heating (little too much - it was hot and we couldn't find the right thermostat). Only things missing were paper towels, dishwasher powder, and garbage bags. We took a nice walk and saw plenty of deer. All was very nice and we would recommend this home."

"My mother, my husband, and I stayed four nights at Benzine Farm. The cabin was large enough that we had plenty of space and it could have accommodated another family. The location was great and we saw plenty of deer walking through the yard. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We will definitely consider returning to Benzine Farm!
This is the second time we have used Carolina Cabin Rentals, Inc. We had no problems this time and had no reason to contact the team members. However, during our first visit the interior knob on the front door came apart and we were locked inside the cabin. The office staff was kind and friendly and maintenance was quick to arrive and rescue us."

"Property Review
Overall, we were very pleased with the property and most likely will rent this place again sometime this upcoming winter. We loved the fire place and all the windows. The giant window overlooking the living room is breathtaking, and we loved the loft! The couch was very comfy and the blankets were perfect for cuddling up on the couch in front of a nice fire. The base boards are perfect for heating each individual room and provide more than ample heat. The little snowflake lights on the rail in the loft and on the tree in the living room were a very nice touch. We really didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
Manager Review
We only made one call to Carolina Cabin Rentals and the associate we very friendly and was able to quickly address our question."
