The property has many retro up fits but still holds its historic character and charm. The originally Heart Pine floors flow throughout and the claw foot tub/ shower in the bathroom just to name a few of the many original touches in the Loft.

Some of the amenities include a flat screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, Queen bed with memory foam, bed and bath linens, kitchen utensils and cookware, both a traditional coffee maker and Keurig, dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator/ icemaker, washer/ dryer, board games, and more. "We enjoyed our two week stay, finding the location an excellent base for walking all around Beaufort, as well as easy driving access to explore the islands and beyond. The library almost across the street was convenient to drop in to read newspaper. Restaurants and shopping were only a brief walk to get early morning coffee, dining, and after-dinner strolls for ice cream and sunset walks along the river. Running over the bridge a few times as the sun rose was an added benefit of this location. Kitchen is well equipped so we ate many of our meals there, it's the best way to enjoy the fresh seafood from Sea Eagle Market. We intend to return to Beaufort again and will certainly stay with you again."

"What a beautifully maintained apartment! PERFECT for a couple's retreat! Walking distance to EVERYTHING. The bathroom was huge, and the clawfoot tub was wonderful for a nice bath. Everything was neat, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a supply of spices and coffee/filters, with your choice of Keurig, small drip and Melita coffee/tea methods. The upstairs porch in the branches of moss-draped oaks was a real treat, so plan to spend time just sitting and relaxing. Bring your necessities, and leave your car parked for your entire stay. Chapman's Grocery is just around the corner for anything you forgot They have unique wines and beer, grocery staples plus a gourmet selection of meats, cheeses, pantry items and fresh baked bread and desserts. Make an appointment at the Beaufort Day Spa in advance of your stay for a massage or facial. We highly recommend Blackstone's and Lowcountry Produce for breakfast, Breakwater for a nice dinner, and Luther's on the waterfront for live music. There really isn't a "bad" restaurant downtown, and shopping is excellent! Enjoy all Beaufort has to offer from this wonderful little piece of the historic district."

"Great location, easy walking distance to the waterfront, historic Point area and restaurants. This apartment is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Around the corner, 2 blocks is the awesome Blackstone restaurant. From the front porch with my cup of coffee I enjoyed the views of this old quaint neighborhood, the sounds of those beautiful horses pulling their carriages of smiling, waving visitors. The Visitors center is one block east. Added surprise, Saturday a wedding was held across the street. The bridal party lined up for some outside photos. The DJ played a variety of music, promptly ending it at 10: 00 p. m.. A short drive to Landing Dr., Port Royal is the Marker244 restaurant, outside dining came with a constant breeze. This might be Beaufort County’s best kept secret in restaurants. I would definitely recommend a stay at the old house."

The bedroom, while small, has a comfortable bed and a small closet for hanging up clothes. The kitchen is fully furnished and has plenty of plates, bowls, and cooking utensils. The best part of the property is that it is only a block and a half from the waterfront area with bars, restaurants, and a park along river. "We enjoyed our stay at 807 Craven St. We planned to stay for 7 days but added on 2 more nights bc we felt so at home & relaxed there. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen & sitting on the porch. The porch had a great view of the street & romantic Spanish Moss covered trees. The trees also added a layer of seclusion & privacy as well as peace & quiet. There is some street & car noise in the mornings & evenings but most of the day it's a calm peaceful street. Morning tea & evening wine on the porch is a dream! The apartment loft is layed out well. The bathroom is huge, the bedroom romantic. The kitchen awesome. There is not much storage space for luggage. If you are staying more than a few days, I suggest getting creative & devising your own storage solution the way we did. Having already asked about closet storage in the loft we knew there wasn't much closet space for clothes etc. So we purchased 4 fabric storage bins to use as a make shift dressor. I hung dresses & shirts in the closet & we put 2 of the bins in the closet on the luggage rack & the other two clothes bins set neatly in an out of the way corner. We did not want to live out of suitcases all week. We wanted to relax to the max. Once we did that everything was perfect! This dreamy apartment & perfect location is worth that little bit of effort. And let's talk about location...just like other reviews mention it is right downtown. The beautiful waterfront is a 5 minute walk at max. And on the way you are already downtown walking past cool shops & restaurants. I look forward to going back as soon as possible!"
