"We loved staying at this cottage/cabin. The road made us a little nervous the first trip up, but got easier. The view from the porch was breath taking. We enjoyed the extras (hottub, fire table, pingpong table, pool table and darts). Would definitely stay there again."

"Our stay at Cucumber Lodge was even better than we could have imagined! The drive up was a little nerve wrecking the first time in however we quickly got the hang of it. When you walk into the home you are immediately immersed into the beautiful mountain scenery. From the decks you can see mountains everywhere, no obstructed views, just beautiful mountain scenery. The home offered so many entertainment options that kept our crew of 14 adult kids and parents entertained until all hours of the night The sleeping options offered the perfect place for everyone, there is even a roll out bed in the downstairs laundry room one of the kids used after listening to his cousin snore too much in the bunk room. The bunk room did get a little warm at night however when we were there it was warmer than it usually is on our past trips to the mountains same time of year. The beds were extremely comfortable, felt like you just sank into them with wonderfully soft covers surrounding you. The kitchen is quite roomy, even more so than the pictures lead us to believe. We had as many as 6 of us preparing food some times and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen is well stocked with cups, plates, silverware but was somewhat lacking in serving dishes. There are numerous pots and pans but in need of better baking sheets. You may want to bring a few extra dish towels as there were only 2, we found ourselves in need of more than that. You may also want to bring your own blender, they did not have one we could find. We also needed a pitcher for margaritas and iced tea which we could not find so we bought a couple of our own. They offered a Kerig and a coffee maker but our first morning using the coffee maker the pot was broken and coffee went everywhere and since we did not have Kerig pods and really don't like them we just bought a few French Presses instead. The pantry offered many leftover spices, oils and other staples left behind from other visitors. The upstairs living room has a couch and two large chairs which are extremely comfortable but not enough seating for more than 4 or 5 unless you pull up extra chairs, another large couch would be perfect, although there is also a downstairs seating area as well with the pool table but some of us wanted to be upstairs away from the pool and dart playing at times. The outside deck seating is perfect, many chairs for everyone and plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub situated on the top deck offers the perfect view of the mountains especially at sunset while being surrounded by others on the deck who did not want to go in the hot tub. Every night we all spent a lot of time out there taking pictures, playing guitar, playing corn hole and just enjoying the perfect mountain house. Everyone of our family members said this was the best trip we have taken and the best house we have ever rented. With 14 adults we never felt like we were in each other's way, plenty of space to spread out and just do your own thing if you like. We had a couple minor issues with things around the house and the company could not have been more helpful and attentive. The repairman that came out was so pleasant and timely as well. This house will not dissapoint!"

"Great stay. Doors by dining table do need to be sealed better. Wind was blowing snow through and door locks are tricky. Other than that it was perfect."
