"The house was great! The view from the house was beautiful. Our family had a great time and enjoyed staying there. The ski in/ski out is some work. We’re all in pretty good shape and tried it one day and preferred driving the couple miles to the base of the mountain. Nonetheless, we’d stay here again. Thank you"

"One of our best trips to Angel Fire to ski. First time to be at a ski in/ski out and it was amazing for the family to come and go based on their schedule and needs versus always driving to drop off, pick up, coordinate meals, etc. The home was beautiful, warm, inviting, well appointed and perfectly sized for a group of 4-8 people. Will definitely stay here agin!"

Very good
"The house is in an amazing location and the ski in/ski out is very easy and accessible. There were some downsides with the code not working to access the house when we got there, but the manager was always accessible to help us out. This dishwasher was also broken during our stay, which was also a downside. I will note that the drive up the hill in the winter time absolutely needs AWD or 4x4 as the driveway to the house is steep. If it’s covered in snow/ice, it will be very difficult to get to the house. We saw others struggle to get up the hill to get to another house and had to have the driveway plowed before they could drive up it. It would have been helpful to have it plowed beforehand so something for the manager to consider. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to my friends and family!"

"House is lovely. Kitchen was not as supplied as expected…4 wine glasses, no storage containers, etc. Blankets were soiled and there were no pillow cases for extra pillows. Upstairs heat was not working but area heaters were brought to home by staff and they worked well."

"Very nice home with all the amenities. Perfect for a family, or two couples. Very convenient to the mountain. Jumped on the bike, rode 2 minutes to trail, then down to lift. This home is 20 min drive uphill from town if you need to go there. Outside of this, the home is a premier property."

"We had such a great stay at Blue Aspen 1! The house was very clean and comfortable and the views were absolutely amazing! We love to cook at home and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies (pans, cutlery, appliances) and basic spices and there's a grill! We were in Angel Fire to mountain bike and the house was perfectly located for easy access to the trails. The mud room was ideal for gear storage. The Wifi and cell service were solid. We loved spending the evenings as a family on the deck watching the sunset and enjoying the fire! We can't wait to come back!"

"Very new, modern, and well-maintained house with a fantastic view. Can't say enough good things about the house. We've gone to this specific property now 2 years in a row. You do have to walk a up a hill to get to the ski slopes, but it was very manageable for our family of five with kids aged 6, 9, and 11, even after a very large snow day."

"We came to relax and ski for four days. We got exactly that. The hike up to slope was as advertised (a little work) but loved being able to hike up to slope and ski, hike down to eat lunch. Much better than loading up car."

"This property was absolutely perfect for our family. The views were stunning and the place was clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the slopes but much shorter than walking from the parking lot to the lifts at the resort. The trail was marked well from the slopes which was very helpful. My only suggestion is for better signage from the road to find the house."

"10/10 points, The cabin: The overall quality, colors, material selection, architecture, and feel were excellent. The location: Jaw dropping scenery, yes it is a ski-in/out, not matter what other reviews say. If the 300ft to the slopes are too much you should consider another activity. The proximity was absolutely acceptable. Coming from Norway, I am used to breathtaking scenery, and this was at par with some of the great mountain ski resorts in Norway. We were all positively surprised by the high quality of everything at the cabin. It had everything and more. The concept with “take one-leave one” for the wine there and the outdoor fireplace was a nice touch, even if the wine was not top selection, the “touch” made an impression. The beds had good quality mattresses, furniture, and everything was clean and well prepared for us. We had a great stay here and would recommend this rental to anyone with high-quality demands. We had more than enough space, and could easily have space for 1 more small family. Thanks for the experience! Outstanding!"

"House was immaculate upon arrival. The processes (check-in, check-out, etc.) around the rental were flawless. This particular house was perfect for our 6 person family with adult (16-20 year old) children. There is enough space for each person to "get away" for some quiet time, but also plenty of space for everyone to hang out together. We were in quarantine mode and pretty much stayed at the house, only leaving to do some nature hiking in the adjacent ski area. The major attraction of this house (other than it being clean/modern/new) is the view. The large windows and deck provide plenty of space to enjoy a view that will make you want to come back. By the way, if you have more than 4 people, you should plan on bringing a couple of your own portable/folding chairs as there are only 4 (adirondack) chairs on the deck. For people who like to get "out and about" it should be noted that; 1) Getting into "town" is a 15 minute drive on dirt roads, and, 2) There isn't much of a "scene" in Angel Fire in terms of food, culture, etc. Kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and plenty of pots/pans/dishes/utensils. For people who need to stay "connected" to work/entertainment/news, the internet is relatively fast (I tested it as 26 Mbps down) and the mobile signal (T-Mobile/Sprint) was strong. All in all, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend both the house and the associated rental services"

"Loved this place so much! The most amazing deck and beautifully decorated house, with great amenities. We spent so much time on the deck watching the sunset. It was perfect. The only suggestion I’d make is to have blinds for the top windows in the living room as it gets very sunny/hot In the late afternoon. We’d love to come back some day! Thanks for letting us stay in your gorgeous home."
