Princeville, Hawaii – once a plantation area – was named in honor of Hawaii’s Crown Prince Albert Kamehameha, who visited in 1860. Hawaii's northernmost settlement, Princeville is now associated with timeshares, condos, vacation homes, and bucolic beaches.
Great location with an amazing view. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4 and served as an ideal home base for our week plus in Kuaui. Everything was clean and well maintained. Communications with the host was great, answered questions promptly. Providing a rental guide book with pertinent info on site would have avoided a number of questions we had over the first couple days. The hike from the property to the ocean was a bit treacherous, but super fun. Super private beach, which we had to ourselves during every visit - the benefit of the difficult access was privacy. :) Only small inconvenience was some an alarm on the fridge that would go off nightly at about 4am and wake up the entire family.
