Best known for its literary links to the poet John Betjeman, the small, picturesque village of Polzeath is a nature-lovers dream. With a host of outdoor activities on offer, visitors can hike along the coastal paths, enjoy the sights, or just sit back and relax while staying in one of the village's comfortable vacation cottages situated on the Cornish coast.
Westray house is a very comfortable house with all necessary amenities. The house is situated close to the beach and small shopping centre with plenty of restaurants close at hand. Sadly there is a lot of building work going on around the property and this was noisy at times. The unmade lane leading up to the property was frequently blocked with grab lorries during our stay and the building work looked like it is going to continue for quite some time. The house could do with a spring clean as it was dusty in places. The hot tub had not been properly cleaned. All things taken into consideration we all enjoyed our stay at the property.
