Best Hiking Routes in Linn Run State Park
The 612-acre Linn Run State Park is covered with thick forest, best explored on foot. Stay in Linn Run State Park hotels for a couple of nights and you will have time to try out all of these great hiking routes.
1. Flat Rock Trail
A short path of about half a mile which takes you to a large flattened area of rock sitting in the Linn Run stream. Be warned; no matter how tempting the water looks, there is no swimming allowed in this area of the park.
2. Iscrupe Trail
A slightly longer hike at about three quarters of a mile in length which takes you along the original Linn Run Road to the pleasant Adams Falls picnic area.
3. Adams Falls Trail
A slightly steeper and very rocky trail about one mile in length. The climb is worth it for the view of the Adams Falls at the top.
4. Grove Run Trail
A four-mile circular loop which starts and ends at the Grove Run picnic area, and for at least part of its route, follows the stream which bears its name.
