Visit the Many Sides of Disney World, Still the Go-To U.S. Theme Park

Disney World is the name given to the four Disney theme parks in Orlando, Florida: the original Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot Center, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and several water parks. Stay in a vacation rental near Disney World to easily experience them all, with all the convenience and comforts of home.

What to See and Do at Disney World

The Magic Kingdom of Disney World

Head to main site of it all so younger children can meet their Disney heroes and heroines. The daily parade down Main Street USA is also a must-do.

Epcot at Disney World

You can travel around the world at Epcot thanks to the internationally-themed rides and pavilions. The best part? Deciding which country's cuisine to eat!

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Movie buffs should head to Hollywood Studios, where you can blast off to a galaxy far, far away and imagine yourself in the Star Wars universe.

Planning Your Walt Disney World Vacation

Prohibited Items

Disney World parks have some rules to be mindful of, meant to ensure the safety of guests. No alcohol or glass containers are permitted, though you can bring in your own food items. Be warned that kids cannot bring in toys that look like weapons, and you will have to leave your dog behind, too. Selfie sticks are banned in all Disney parks.

Parking and Transportation

Parking at Disney World is $20 per car per day, as of 2017 (check their site for the most current information). However, once you have paid for the day, you can park at any of three Disney attractions — handy if you want to visit more than one park in a day. There is also a transport network between the parks which visitors can use to get around, including a monorail link.

Park Rules

Other park rules govern clothing (guests over the age of 14 are not allowed to wear Disney costumes) and the age and height limits for certain rides and attractions.
