This nature trail takes you on a circular route from the Forest Heritage Center Museum, through wooded areas with signs to give you more information about the plants and animals you can see.
This 12-mile hiking route, named after a former governor of Oklahoma, runs through the southern part of Beavers Bend State Park. The route can be easily split into four shorter sections if 12 miles is too much.
