    Gunstock Mountain ski resort boasts an impressive range of activities. The resort has 55 trails for skiing and snowboarding, and you can even tube down the longest snow tube track in the state. Gunstock Mountain also has its own roller coaster, reaching speeds of up to 25mph. All this, as well as a dedicated ski school means you and your family will have an outdoor adventure to remember.

  • 2. King Pine Ski Area

    King Pine is located between two of the most beautiful regions in the state, the lakes and Mount Washington. It runs in and around an expansive pine forest which makes it great for snowshoeing and exploring, or kicking back and relaxing on a horse-drawn sleigh. If you have children aged between three and seven, you're in luck! King Pine offers 90-minute, 'knee-hi' lessons, during which your children can learn the basics. There is also an associated ski and snowboard camp, which has been perennially popular with kids since it opened way back in 1938.

  • 3. Pat's Peak

    Pat's Peak's ski trails are carefully planned with all levels of skill in mind, with most catering for the novice skier. For children aged four months to 14 years, there are several daycare and kids programs catering to their needs. There is even a three-day vacation camp for kids aged between six and 14, of all skill levels. Pat's Peak also recently expanded, and as such, there is a whole new section of the mountain to explore. So even if you've been here before, you can find more to love about this resort.
