HomeToGo Reveals CAGR Revenue Growth of 2201%
Berlin, 4th December 2017 - HomeToGo (https://www.hometogo.com), the world’s largest metasearch engine for vacation rentals, providing over 11 million offers from more than 250 providers worldwide, is Germany’s digital growth champion. For the third time, the German startup magazine Gründerszene has named 50 of the country’s fastest growing digital companies in terms of revenue, and HomeToGo places first in the ranking.
The Gründerszene Wachstums-Ranking considers all German entrants with a digital business model, a minimum yearly revenue of €10,000 in the first year of a three year period, and validated financial statements. After its founding in 2014, HomeToGo achieved a winning CAGR growth rate of 2,201% over the following three years. The company now has more than 150 employees, and is active in 12 European markets, as well as in the United States, Russia, Australia and Mexico. The previous winner of the Gründerszene Wachstums-Ranking 2016 achieved a growth rate of 1,425%.
HomeToGo currently sends more than 20 million users a month to its partners’ websites. This success is now bearing fruit: Last quarter, HomeToGo broke even in its core European markets for the first time.
HomeToGo´s growth rate in such a short time period is extraordinarily impressive, considering that the metasearch engine is operating in the vacation rental market that is very marketing cost intensive. The money invested by the Investors Insight Venture Partners, Acton Capital Partners, DN Capital, and Global Founders Capital was well spent in different channels and further growth can be expected.
“Our goal from the start was to build a metasearch engine to help the user find the perfect vacation rental,” said Dr. Patrick Andrae, MD and CEO of HomeToGo. “The company’s impressive growth rate shows how positively users have responded to our entry into the vacation rental market, with many becoming returning visitors.”
“We are delighted to have won the Gründerszene Wachstums-Ranking 2017/2018, and it is a testament to our exceptional team and outstanding product. Having just announced profitability in our core European markets, we are very confident about our future growth plans” said Nils Regge, MD responsible for marketing at HomeToGo. HomeToGo is planning to launch additional markets and will intensify marketing activities in all markets.
