Curry College is one of the smaller higher education establishments in Massachusetts with around 4,700 students. The main campus is 7 miles from the center of Boston, and there is a smaller satellite campus along the coast at Plymouth. The main campus is ideally positioned for easy access into the city and is also close to the wide open spaces of the Blue Hills Reservation.
There is limited visitor parking on campus, so it's best to use public transport to get around. The nearest station is Readville on the commuter rail network, which is just over a mile from the Curry campus. The 32 or 39 buses from downtown Boston will also drop you at the station.
The Blue Hills Reservation is a 6,000 acre state park very close to Curry College. It provides the perfect place to escape the bustle of the city and get back to nature. It's a popular area for hiking in summer and cross-country skiing in winter. Rent a mountain bike to explore the huge network of paths, roads, and mountain trails.
Samuel Adams is one of Boston's best known brands, and guests over the age of 21 can join a brewery tour to find out what goes into making the famous brew. There's also an opportunity to sample the products, and an on-site shop where you can buy Boston and beer-related souvenirs to take back home.
