When you stay in Richmond, you will come across many students and faculty going about their business. You will also see many of the athletes from the Colonel team doing their workouts. The campus offers tours for prospective students and often host interesting events.

The new baseball stadium opened in March 2017. The University team, the Colonels, call it home and you can go and watch a game there. You'll get in some good baseball, as in 2018 when the EKU team advanced to the top three in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Richmond is serviced by main US routes 75, and 421. Plus, it's on the Kentucky routes 52 and 169. Within Richmond, access to the university is by car, or you may wish to obtain a pass for The Richmond Transit Service.
While you plan a trip to Richmond, you may consider the weather. Short but cold and wet winters and warm summers make for a mild climate. June through September is the best time to stay in the city.
