You will find a number of shoreline hikes in Whitewater Memorial State Park, as well as a few which provide views of the park from ridges and mountains. In total there are about nine miles of multi-use trails. Take your time and try out all the trails, and stay a few nights in Whitewater Memorial State Park cabins.
This trail is a 2.6-mile lollipop style loop. There is a small steep section but the trail is mostly flat. You do go through a small playground so plan for extra time if you have young kids. Hiking time for the trail should be around two hours and the trail is rated as moderate.
A very level trail with views of Brookville Lake. This two-mile trail will take you through forests and fields to the cabin area of the park.
The longest trail in the park at 2.7 miles is rated as moderate due to a few steep sections. This trail meanders through hardwood forests and provides lovely views of Whitewater Lake.
This is the shortest trail in the park at just over one mile. An easy and very flat walk that is ideal for the whole family. You will see a number of waterfowl and other birds on the trail.

The park has nine miles of trails that are exclusively for riders. You can even bring your own horse as there are stables provided for guests. Horses are available for hire and you can procure the services of a local guide to show you the trails.
Whitewater Lake has some fantastic swimming beaches that are perfect for families with young children.
You can hire a canoe and explore the lake on your own. There are a number of beaches and small coves to discover that are only accessible from the water.
