What to See and Do at Hersheypark
Roller Coasters Galore
Take a ride on the Wildcat, a wooden roller coaster that rattles its way along at an impressive 45mph, or go for a more modern thrill ride with the fast and loopy Sidewinder.
Younger visitors are well catered to with rides that the whole family can enjoy, such as a traditional carousel, ferris wheel, and pirate ship.
Enjoy live entertainment and activities themed to the time of year, such as Santa and ice skating at Christmas or Hersheypark's popular summer concert series.
Planning Your Vacation to Hersheypark
Hersheypark is only open during the summer and around particular holidays during the rest of the year – Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. Exact opening dates and times can be found on their website. Make the most of your visit by spending a few extra dollars on the Fast Track service, so you don't waste your time waiting in lines.
A lot of the rides at Hersheypark have height restrictions to ensure that all guests can safely enjoy their experience. They do things a bit differently here, with attractions categorized as different Hershey candies. For example, thrill rides for passengers over 60" are labeled "Jolly Ranchers."
You are not allowed to bring food or drink into Hersheypark, aside from one sealed bottle of water per person. As for pets, only service dogs are allowed into Hersheypark. Also, selfie sticks are not permitted on the rides.
