A Cozy Retreat in the Heart of Nature – 5 Stars! We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful log cabin for a week getaway, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the charming rustic exterior and a warm, inviting atmosphere inside. We arrived after dark and did not have the phone number of the host. We knocked on the door of of a very trusting widow in her 70's, who lives alone. She and her adult son who lives close. He knows the host, so he and his mother saved the night for us. I suggest that all home to go hosts provide better information on how to access units. It was dark and we are Americans in Germany.

We really enjoyed our vacation here. We had a few truly “southern” days at the North Sea – with plenty of sunshine, almost no wind, and wonderful water. The apartment has everything you need. The children’s rooms are unique. The barbecue and the possibility to have lunch downstairs are fantastic.
