We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and comfortable apartment. The layout is excellent, and we especially appreciated that every bedroom has its own bathroom, which provided extra comfort and privacy. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket, bakery, and several restaurants all within walking distance. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide a larger table on the terrace, making it easier and more enjoyable to have meals outside. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment and would gladly stay here again.

Kitchen is under equipped with cuttery and all necessary items to prepare a meal. Access on the pathway to the house is a bit challenging Equipment and decoration is kept at a minimum Poor wifi on the first floor Very well kept and nice garden

Excellent throughout. This is a VERY special apartment- it is very spacious with modern (quality) appliances in the large kitchen. We were concerned about storage, before we travelled - but there is a mass of built in storage in the hallway and the bedroom alike. The apartment is spotlessly clean and modern, the bathroom and guest WC are hotel quality. Add to that the unexpected bonus of an underground Double Garage (a proper garage, with an automatic door and not just parking spaces). We were met by the host’s representative on arrival - all dead easy. Ultra high speed (fibre) broadband and WiFi. Wow - terrific and really impressed.

This was a really spacious and modern apartment which suited us as a family of four with two teenage girls. Having two bathrooms and a lovely balcony, plus excellent kitchen and laundry facilities was appreciated. Every main room had full height sliding windows and good options for shade to keep the property cooler. The location was a 10 minute walk into town and well placed for buses and restaurants. Wifi was only available in the living room. Communication with the host managers was excellent. Area around apartment was residential and quiet in the evenings, so good for families. The area is hilly, so someone with mobility issues might struggle with access. The apartment block itself has two working lifts, and is very well maintained.

This was a great apartment, less than 10 mins walk from the shops and restaurants and social scene of Funchal. It’s on a hill but if you’ve ever been to Madeira, you’ll know that everything is on a hill! The kitchen was well equipped and it had fast internet connectivity, which is a must these days. The bed was large and extremely comfy. There was no air conditioning but there was a large fan that did an excellent job of keeping us cool. As with all properties in Madeira, you get your fair share of bugs coming in, which meant keeping the windows and doors closed when the lights come on but that would be the case wherever you stay. What would move this apartment from great to excellent would be air con’ or maybe some insect screens on the doors or windows to allow you to leave them open in the evenings.
