Folly Beach Fishing Pier
Fishing, birding and views of the ocean await you on this thousand foot pier stretching into the Atlantic. 25 feet above sea level, the pier is the second longest on the east coast. It's also the location of fishing tournaments, special events and fine dining.
Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve

Folly Beach County Park
This beach at the island's west end is encircled by the Folly River and Atlantic ocean. Lifeguards are on duty as it's a prime swimming spot, where one can wade out through the gradually deepening and seasonally balmy water. Skimmer Flats, a rookery for the eastern brown pelican, is a natural wonder of the area.
