Planning Your Walt Disney World Vacation
Prohibited ItemsDisney World parks have some rules to be mindful of, meant to ensure the safety of guests. No alcohol or glass containers are permitted, though you can bring in your own food items. Be warned that kids cannot bring in toys that look like weapons, and you will have to leave your dog behind, too. Selfie sticks are banned in all Disney parks. Parking and TransportationParking at Disney World is $20 per car per day, as of 2017 (check their site for the most current information). However, once you have paid for the day, you can park at any of three Disney attractions — handy if you want to visit more than one park in a day. There is also a transport network between the parks which visitors can use to get around, including a monorail link. Park RulesOther park rules govern clothing (guests over the age of 14 are not allowed to wear Disney costumes) and the age and height limits for certain rides and attractions.
